The proceedings sped up exponentially once Ellie joined in. Trixie was actually beginning to have hope of going to her bed at a reasonable hour! It wasn't so much that Ellie was telling Roxanne what to think, more that she knew what questions to ask to help Roxanne sus out her true desires. Before long, they had gotten Ellie and Brutus more or less situated, and sent the couple on their way. Only Ellie herself and Ellie's affairs were left to handle.
"It's a shame you arrived so late in the day," Princess Tania commented as she sipped a glass of a hearty herb and fruit tea Mr. Abbott had provided. "You're truly a credit to your station. We could've finished hours ago had you been present from the beginning!"
"I'm a hand maid," Ellie said with a polite smile, sipping from her own glass. "Knowing my mistress and how to best serve her needs is simply expected of one of my station."
