"I don't know what was more embarrassing," Trixie complained with a sigh. "Finding out how clueless I was to the fact that my family was getting bullied by these jerks behind my back, or learning the ways some of them had decided to retaliate! The worst part, is that retaliation effected people that weren't even involved!"
"My dear, if I've learned anything over the course of my many years as an uncle and a father, it's that conflict is inevitable, especially if one person views another as a threat in any sense of the word," Count Deemer replied as he sipped his tea. "I've also learned our efforts to control our loved ones only makes them act out even worse."
"So I've been told," Trixie sighed, then followed the count's lead and took a sip from her own cup.
