Hard as the past week had been for everyone, nobody--not even Dalek or Trixie-- had it as bad as Jemma. Fearful someone might learn the truth about her and her abilities, Jemma had kept herself locked in a closet and out of sight in the room she shared with Lorelei.
"You can't hide in there forever Jemma," Lorelei called. "You're going to have to come out eventually!"
"It is not safe," Jemma replied miserably. "There are so many people here, so many eyes everywhere..."
"That's never stopped you before," Lorelei scoffed. "You've made transformations in broad daylight in public before. What's the big deal?"
"This is different!" Jemma insisted with a miserable groan.
"Whatever girl," Lorelei rolled her eyes, then settled back into her mattress. "If you're going to be in here you could at least hang out with me though."
"What if somebody saw me?" Jemma questioned.
"Jemma..." Lorelei whined. "Please? I'm so bored!"
