"Jacoby, Orval, get the kids to the castle and keep them safe," Emerick instructed.
"I'm not leaving you here by yourself!" Orval scoffed.
Jacoby seemed to want to object as well, but his eyes were darting back and forth between the ominous rumble quickly headed in their direction and the confused and nervous bundle of children now being ushered in the direction of the castle. Trying to see what was going on, a few would trip.
"That's an order," Emerick replied with a dangerous edge to his voice. "If even a single one of them is in any way injured at the end of this, I will hold you responsible Knight Captain!"
Orval seemed startled to hear Emerick address him by his title. He stared at the prince for a moment, offered a salute, then began issuing instructions to his men.
"Go with them Trixie," Emerick stated, eyes fixed ahead of them.
"Not happening," She replied fiercely.
