"I really don't see what the big fuss is about," Olivia grumbled, rubbing the back of her head. "Modesty is an illusion constructed by the conventions of society. You don't see other creatures going out of their way to garb themselves. I mean, nobody says anything about the clearly exposed udders of a cow, or the visible testicals of any other male mammals for that matter."
"That is quite an interesting apology," Jacoby commented with furrowed brows.
"Sorry." Olivia stated in a monotone, though her expression and posture indicated that she didn't feel the least bit apologetic.
"Did you need anything, sir?" Sullivan asked again, ignoring her completely. He had received a sincere enough apology for her actions the first time. With the second offense, at least she had asked before she acted.
