Taking a deep breath, Rathus turned his attention to the back of the room. Rosalie's mouth was persed so tightly, Rathus could tell she was holding back a furious torrent of words. With Titus's posture, back to her and furiously working, Rathus had a guess of what might've happened. He supposed he would likely find out before much longer.
"I was asking about an evening several weeks from now," Rosalie was practically snarling, though she wore a polite smile. Her wings were twitching as well. As ever, Titus remained oblivious.
"I already told you, I am too busy!" Titus snapped. "Could we talk about this later? I am in the middle of something right now!"
"You're always in the middle of something!" Rosalie snapped back. "Look, I get it, you care a lot about your job! I respect that! I also think you can afford to take one night off from it!"
