"There you are!" Jenna appeared quite conveniently just a few minutes later. Liron didn't question her timely appearance as he leaned into her frantic embrace. "Why did you not let go of the carriage? How could you scare me like that?!"
As she spoke, she showered the top of his head with kisses. It actually felt quite nice. He couldn't help but close his eyes and smile as he enjoyed the experience. He lost track of her scolding until he felt her tug sharply on his ears.
"Ouch!" Liron exclaimed with surprise.
"That is what you get for neglecting to lend sufficient attention to my dialogue!" She snapped. "Are you so utterly selfish that you cannot appreciate the degree to which I feared for your safety?"
"I'm just glad it's over," Liron replied with a dreamy smile. "And now I've found quite a cozy little nook to curl up in… I think I'll just take a nap."
