RAM WAS MET WITH SOOTHING SCENERY.
After his discussion with Aunt El, he came to the new room inside the Elder of Air's Section of The Institute where he was supposed to be receiving Hypnosis sessions with Elder of Water.
The room's walls were painted with beautiful scenery depicting a lake with an old tree nearby, with birds flying in the air. The roof the room was now depicting what Surya thought as either Sun Rise or Sun Set. The soft light that spread all around the room was so soothing that Ram relaxed a little bit, even forgetting about Em's Shutdown for a moment.
When a soothing water waves sounds reached Ram's ears, he realized that he was about to be hypnotized.
Ram felt the urge to run as far away from this room as possible. But he resisted this urge. After all, Elder of Water was here to assist Ram discover what it felt like to be hypnotized, learn every nook and corner of the hypnosis to identify and overcome against those who intended to hypnotize him.
Ram thought for a moment how it would be if Elder of Water go against Elder of Air's orders and also teach him how to hypnotize, but he believed that Elder of Water was too lazy to do that.
Ram then realized that if Elder of Water did teach him how to hypnotize, he could not resist himself from using it on Sandhya, to make her fall in love with him.
Ram shook his head.
He had to stay as far away from learning hypnosis as possible.
Ram tried to calm down his thoughts. The soothing environment also helped him a little bit and stood in front of Elder of Water.
Elder of Water shaved his beard and mustache, his hair trimmed down into a military cut that made him look much younger than he had previously seen him. His clothes were crisp and tight, emitting an air of nobility.
All the previous traces of carelessness and laziness that he projected in earlier meetings disappeared as if they were never emitted in the first place.
The Elder of Water present in front of Ram felt like he was completely different person.
Ram swallowed.
While looking at the Elder of Water yesterday or the days before made Ram wanted to shout at him or do any other things that would infuriate him or disrespect him, the transformed Elder of Water in front of Ram made him give him utmost respect.
Ram wanted to do anything to please him.
Soon, Ram saw Elder of Eyes glowed golden color.
Ram was so impressed by the Elder of Water in front of him that he was in a daze.
Elder of Water gave him a dry smile, as if he knew the impact he had on him. "Ram, how was today? If you are fine with it, we need to proceed with our discussion. We have much to discuss and so little time," he said.
Ram nodded his head, but his brows furrowed. As if there was something…
Ram heard the soothing music once again and he smiled at the Elder of Water. "No problem Elder. Let's proceed with our discussion. Also, sorry for being late," he said.
"Have you forgotten about what today is and also about what you should be doing today?"
"Today is something special for you right. I have not forgotten. It's just that my Aunt kept me busy till now. Please accept my apologies, Esteemed Elder?" Ram asked.
"Is this why I am paying you? To accept your apologies? You have forgotten about what today meant to me right?"
"How can that be? I have perfectly remembered today is?"
"Then tell me what is is?"
"It is… it was…" Ram stuttered, finally, he bowed his head down in shame. "Sorry elder, I have forgotten about it. Can you enlighten me?"
"I knew you were up to no good. If it weren't because for your Aunt, I never would've employed you," Elder of Water said.
Ram realized that his actions had damaged even his Aunt's Reputation. He was so ashamed that he didn't want to show his face in front of his Aunt again. But if he were to do that, his Aunt would be worried about him. Again. "Please Esteemed Elder, give me another chance. I will make it up to it," he said.
"Alright, since I know your Aunt, I will let it go this time. But if you were to repeat the same mistake again, I cannot guarantee what I will do with you," Elder of Water said.
Ram bowed at waist and straightened. "I will make sure not to repeat the same mistake again," he said.
"That meant you were going to repeat other mistakes?"
"No, Esteemed Elder, I meant that I will make sure I am not going to commit any sort of mistakes again. Thank you for forgiving me this time. What should I be doing?"
Elder of Water gave him a stern glance. "Alright. Today we have arranged a party for several other Elders. You were supposed to arrive 3 hours earlier and clean the house, prepare the necessary meals and serve them. We have only one hour left. Make do with what you have and make sure that you impress them," he said.
Ram nodded and get to cleaning the room and cooking the meals like his life depended on it.
Once he served the meals, he bowed to Elder once again.
"What do you think about them, Esteemed Elder?" he asked.
Elder of Water glanced all around the room, as well as at the meals and nodded his head. "Though they aren't as extravagant as if we had 4 hours, they are fine. But since you still have 3 more hours of work that you promised me, why don't you go and visit the Justice Hall in my place and listen to proceedings?" he asked.
Justice Hall? Where had he heard about it?
It was as if that word triggered something inside of his brain and Ram broke from the daze.
He looked at his surroundings, saw the meals present in the table and his stomach rumbled. "Elder, if you don't mind, can I eat them?" he asked.
Elder of Water gave him a smile. "Of course, help yourself," he said.
They sat down and as they were eating the food. Once they were in the midway, Ram realized that he had come to receive a session from Elder of Water. "Elder, what about the session?" he asked.
"It has already been in the progress ever since you stepped inside this room," Elder of Water said, gesturing all around the room.
Ram frowned. He remembered entering the room and … standing in front of the dining table.
He didn't remember what happened in between them.
Also, his whole body was aching like he had worked hard, especially his wrists and his lower back.
He realized that he had been hypnotized and had no idea what had happened.
As if Elder of Water could read Ram's mind, he nodded and said, "This is the Most Dangerous Hypnosis Technique a user can perform. How is it? Isn't it a great experience?"
