Silence from the kids they all look up at her then look across from the table at each other, confused. Unsure why she even asked "of course we know what a demon is, is she playing a trick" They all thought to each other, all except vatu, for he really had no idea what to say.
Outis looks slowly around the table.
"Weeeell?"
Quillo raises her hand "they're beings not born on this world"
"Hufph haha… see that was all I wanted, and why do you think I asked that" she puts her knees on the table and pulls herself up, she crawls like a cat along the table.
"I want you to know that there is so much more to what demons are. They're more than just SCARY!" She whips her face to the side crunching up her nose making a scary face behind strands of black hair wildly hanging down her face.
"Aaah" Quillo yips and buries her face in Vatu's shoulder.
"They're not only POWERFUL!" She quickly stands up with one leg, turning on her knee as she stomps down in front of Brosac. Looking down seriously, giving off a green dense aura pressing down everyone around her.
"MONSTROUS, EVIL!, NO!" she stands up in the middle of the table shouting. Releasing even more energy.
"IT'S ALL JUST WORDS, Words used by weak, foolish, and scared humans. Witch's, Monsters, Demons don't really exist; they're just excuses used to justify themselves."
She bends her knees inward so much she falls back on the table slow and controlled. Turning her head she looks at vatu very relaxed and still.
"So what do you think we should really call them"
Vatu looks deep into his mother's eyes, seeing a deep dark chasm of swirling green shimmers. There are no words Vatu would know at this age to describe what Outis just asked of him. But he answered with one word that came to his mind.
"Family"
A smile grows on Qutis
"Whos family, my sweet vatu"
She turns over and stands up
"Everyone tell me what family is?"
Again they all look confused but Brosac with a straight face answers immediately after Outis asks.
"Family is strength the strength from not being alone"
Outis jumps down "HAHA yes Brosac be sure your siblings remember this" she brushes off her dress and walks around to the side off the table Brosac sits on, Running her hand through Reyna's spiky hair, he looks up at her loving smile.
"When you all were born into this family, ehum excuse me our family. You become more than just yourself. You transcend your being and be with purpose."
Outis moves closer to Brosac putting her arms around him and resting her head on his.
"The purpose of striking down God and everything else that stands in the way of OUR FREEDOM!
Outis accidentally hugs him too tight, choking the life out of him while she vigorously explains to the children.
"The first daughter of Huri made a pact with the father of all monsters Typhoon" She releases Brosac and walk around to the other side slowly as she speaks
"Eat of your kin and never be alone, feed my being and family is your's"

Outis turns around at the end of the table stabbing down in between them.
"And thrust my fang into heavens, kill the gods, rain in their blood"
She looks around the table, all of them pushed away in shock but eyes still fixed on her.
"This was what we got from the sacrifices of our great mother" she lets go of the knife sticking into the table
"She gave us the power to not be alone, to change the fate we were given"
Looking at the knife it does not appear as anything more than a large buck knife with a serrated edge leading up to a hook forming back into the tip of a normal blade.. The kids look at it some like they've seen it beforehand, others look closely at it. Vatu looking at the knife becomes enamored with truly looking at with interest taking in the details he notices that is no kind of metal, bone maby, ivory possible, but without a doubt it's not metal or wood just one solid piece.
Quilo looks up at vatu seeing his focused face she asks.
"do you know what that thing is"
"It's family Quillo" Outis whispers into her ear
"HUH" Quillo scrambles pushing back against vatu.
"Demons, Monsters, and Witches we are all the same, Especially us. As witches we can make contact with the other unseen world and communicate with being on the other side. But the Witches of Huri are no different from those otherworldly beings because of the family pact made with this" Outis pulls the knife out and begins twirling it in one hand as she leans on table with the other.
"Losing some of our humanity for great power, not only do we use magic, and curses to fight. Above our weapons used to slaughter our hands that crush, we can summon the true strength of family to help us survive this world"
She stops spinning the blade and looks to everyone
