In the only building on the largest mountain of a small planet a wave of power resonated. The building, made of some of the strongest materials and inlaid with powerful gemstones, shattered in an instant. A runic pattern flashed across the entire mountain as the building was disintegrated and a single flame was left in its place.
'How!? How could I have been so gullible? Now everything's gone and I have to even leave this place' thought Shao Feng as he checked his soul's condition.
'Even my soul has been torn? This will never fix without help… but how? Everyone I've ever known has betrayed me or is dead'
With that depressing thought Shao Feng's soul left the planet in search of a New World.
The Sagh Empire had been at war with the Immortal Federation since the two forces had met thousands of years ago. Within the past 500 years the powers had been dead even with each side trying to claim New Worlds with more resources to change the battle.
These New Worlds were in a galaxy adjacent to the two forces. They fought for them because this new galaxy was filled with an abundance of planets that were rich in resources, living creatures, and even some sacred relics that had been found from a long extinct race.
Within the past ten years the universe had drastically changed, with The Saghans taking over 95% of the Federations planets, pushing them to the brink of destruction. The past ten years' constant warring caused the discovery of new planets to come to a standstill, with many planets ready for the taking.
For Feng this was good and bad news. It allowed him a safe refuge, but not for long. Many rich planets would tempt many civilizations. He needed to find a planet deep in unknown galaxy that would be at peace for as long as possible.
Shao Feng traveled as far as his broken soul would allow before he stretched his senses and searched for one of the valuable planets this galaxy was known for.
After extensively searching he found one rich enough and hidden enough to satisfy what little demands he allowed himself to have. After viewing the planet for a day he saw it.
'Aha the perfect vessel to heal my soul'
Shao Feng's soul dove into the planets atmosphere straight toward an unassuming 17 year old in a car on a trip with his family.
