What is my life right now?
This is so strange to me and out of pocket. They got a kid and everything involved in this shit. And the silence is over us. But the elephant still stomping behind. "Why did you kill daddy?"
I knew that shit was gon' come up eventually. "Lynndie, yo daddy had to die." don't tell her shit like that! "You see, I've know your father since middle school grade." says Solis. "And as long as we was friends, he had told me he liked my sister because she was so pretty. So, my stupid ass, told her that my friend like you and your mother has always talked about a soulmate."
"And they met?"
"Yep."
"But why did you shoot daddy?" she pouts. "Because I egret my fucking decision..." Solis sneers.
"Soul! Man, calm down."
"What I do?"
"Cussin' in front of that child..."
"I'm used to it." says Lynndie. "I've already told my brother." Adele rolls her eyes. She gazes over at me, "About that motel."
"Rent free. Why are we headed Tanko Cartman?" I ask.
"I know he wants a legend!" Adele's eyes narrow, annoyed. "My brother is a fucking investigator."
"I know shit, you don't know." he looks back. "She has the book and I have questions."
"So, what we doing looking for God?" I grimace. "You brought yo' niece out here."
"And you see how she look! I'm going to fix it!" he yells. He blew up my fucking car. This shit is planned. What I got to do with it? I never was in the cast for The Hills Have Eyes. "I got a question about Greg."
"Lord..." he huffs. "Does he have powers?"
"Hold on." Adele puts the cart down with Lynndie. "Let me read this book." She pulls the book out of her dress and flips through it until she finds the right thing. "Here something. Reveon: Mangles are mindless. Created to appear as man but lost their manhood, which was a gift from HIM first. A heart can be traded but not appreciated. And the soul is like an hourglass. Turning it does nothin--" She slams the book shut, "Am I dying?"
In the most childish voice possibly, Solis turns with his lip sagging. "I don't know..."
"I hate you!" she hisses. Adele opens the book again, "It says, A heart can be traded but not appreciated!"
"Well, I don't fucking kn--"
"It means that I could be whole and all I need is different heart or soul!"
"No..."
"Yes it does!" she screams. "I just need a new heart." She grips her cow ears. "Adele you were chopped up!"
"But I can be myself again. Lynn can be herself again..." her voice gets low. She drops to the dirt and weeps into her hands. I pick up the cart and motion for Lynn to get in. "I can be myself..." she cries aloud. "Adele! Stop acting up!"
"I don't want my daughter to be a fucking sheep!" she booms. "It's still yo' damn child!"
"I don't want a sheep!" Inbetween all her crying, she starts making cow noises. "I don't want a sheep!" Adele does something amazing. She pulls her ears and pulls a knife out from her chest. "Adele!" She cuts her ears off and stands up. "MAMA!"
"I know what I'm doing--" Solis finally delivers the justice wanted and punches Adele in the face. "FUCK!" We just left the house...
"Lynn, baby, get some water."
.

We switched around. Lynn rode on my back and I had the book while Solis carried Adele in the cart.
Onward to Tonko Cartman. "What's in Cartman again?" I ask. "Probably the answer. Greg might be near the woods, Remaadaamun Woods." he says. "Why do I have to repeat myself?"
"This is near Tonko Cartman?"
"Yes..." he raises his brows. "You don't believe me?"
"Probably making sure yo' ass ain't crazy." I look up to my forehead at Lynndie. "Sweetie how old are you?"
"Eight."
"So," I smack my lips. "Her mom is crazy and earless. You killed her daddy. So, I'm I on child support?"
"what?"
"I'm just saying, the way shit looking this early. I might be a father." And my head starts coming up with all kinds of ideas. If I hadn't stopped for a rest. What if these niggas just killed each other? Where would Lynn be? Where is she supposed to go!
"Sorry about your car, Samhill." her ears lay down. "Ah, shit, I stole it..."
They perk back up again, "Oh!"
"Once we get there. We'll rest." says Solis. "And how long will that take?" I call into question. "3 days maybe less."
"Goddamn it Solis!"
"I've been that way at least two times."
"Uncle when did you go?"
"Uh..." he doesn't answer and we keep walking.

I look at Tara's limp body. I don't sense her soul. "I am... you. Y'all. And them." I cock my head to the side.
I put my hand out in front of me. My eyes are a fluorescent beau ideal. "BOW!" I shout and every standing creature glues their knees to the earth. Some of the drivers next to their cars witness. They have nothing to say. "I SAID BOW!" I fling the word in their direction. I shuffle my shoulders. My shadow grabs my feet with four hands.
"Work my damn church!"
.
.
.
My shadow turns in a fluffy black cape dragging behind me. "Wicked Weave!" My hair lays down into two pigtails draped down my shoulders and a beehive above my head. I bite a hole in my lip and turn the blood into lucid red lipstick. "Pick up brick!" I clap, and they walk to the building and pick up stray bricks and wood. "I want it spotless!"
My new minions go inside the ruined and lift rumble and old furniture. One comes out with a treasure box that's dyed red. They drop it with the other mess, and it falls making it open. What drops out is vials of blood and long chain.
I pick up the chain, it's heavy with the sigel of the letter N and a dash in between. I turn it over, on the back is a piece of scripture; 'Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18'
I put it over my neck. It's heavy--HURRY UP!--What was that? This chain actually hurts. When I go to take it off, I feel it cut into my neck. Maybe it's fake--It won't come off. "Ow!" I rub the back of my neck and swear wetness all over me. "What the fuck!" It's digging into the back of my neck! I can't--I end up screaming and going down to my knees and my vision leaves me.
I think my head fell off.

FINALLY!
I thought I would have to wait all day for that bitch to die. At least she gave me a name. Cedrica, perfect, she can be a lost cause but ME? I'm Cedrica and I didn't even need to split, I have her body!
I just need to keep this coat on.
Controlling it without a head is easy. I'm a shadow, I can walk as long as there is sunlight. I go into the ruined church and there is a statue. I use my black body to cross over, attaching to the shadow of the statue.
What is this? I've never seen here. She doesn't look like Venus. It's a woman made from white stone with her left arm missing. It doesn't matter. I didn't split all the way, I'll take her head. "CUT!" the word is wobbly, but I break off the rest, and she fits perfect on Alexis B. Kelly.
Now, to build my church as Cedrica of the Crucifixion. She just doesn't understand trauma.

Where the fuck am I?
