"You want me to do what?" Chauncey's jaw slacked. He faced the lord while sitting at a long table. God rolled a set of black dice in his right hand. He threw them on the table. They bounced a quarter away from him. One landed on 'three' the other landed on 'six'.
"What does that mean to you?" asked God, he sat up straight. "It's a..." Chauncey stretched his neck. "A three and a six."
"That's right." he leaned back. "I rolled six and three. Now you take them." The dice slid over to Chauncey. "I have to roll?"
"I bet my crown." God grinned his sharp-pointed fronts shining with no bling. "And I know nobody can take it."
Chauncey chortled for a minute. He grabbed the dice, shook them in his hand, and tossed them across the table.
One landed on 'one' and the other landed on 'five'. Chauncey muttered 'fuck' under his breath. The dice moved across the table into God's hand. He tossed them up, caught them, and threw them on the table. "We'll be at this all day."
"I don't mind." said Chauncey.
The dice landed, a two and a six. "What do you want from me?"
Chauncey looked at the window to his left. The large and lengthy window viewed the top of the Ghytto. A dark city surrounded by smog. The buildings are tall, overlooking the people. In his view, he saw a building that was broken with an airplane cut in half.
In the city, some people claimed to see the White Ghost. "That's just my nickname." For he wore a white suit, a silver chain at his hip, and a blue handkerchief in his chest pocket. A curly 40s styled hair.
The dice slid to Chauncey. He looked at them and back at God. "I hate my son. I hate my life. I hate being the way I am."
"What do you mean?" God drummed his fingers on the table. "King Chere. I hate my father. I hate my brother."
The King squinted. "I'm... envious."
"Ugly."
"I don't want to be human."
"For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God." he ushered Chauncey to roll the dice. "Exodus 34:14."
He picked up the dice and tossed them to God. "What is the Power of Word?"
The dice landed, a five and a two. God rose a brow. "That one. Bet 3 out of 4. You got 1." the dice vanished and appeared in God's hand. He tossed them, a two and one.
Chauncey 1 – God 0
The dice vanished and appeared before Chauncey; all the dots changed into 1s. "Oh?" he glanced. "Throw them." said God.
Chauncey picked up the dice and stood up. He juggled the dice and let them land on the floor. A six and six.
'Damn.' The dice floated to God. "What do you want?"
"My father's castle. And something else."
"Something else?" he sneered, his eyes glowed pink. God threw the dice to the back wall. A two and four. Chauncey smiled. "No wonder you made the chances."
God chuckled, "A big dick doesn't mean confidence. You just a sorry ass nigga."
"On my soul?"
"On yo' very fucking soul."
Chauncey picked up the dice. He went back to the table and threw the dice. A four and three. Pink flames ignited from his eyes. "I will eat yo fucking heart."
Chauncey licked his lips. "Not till you hear my deal."

God summoned the dice. He threw them in his hand and smacked them on the ground.
A three and a five.
He threw the dice towards Chauncey. The dice flew towards his face and stopped midair. They flew back to God. "Hey!"
He slammed the dice on the floor. A two and a three. He threw the dice at Chauncey. He reached for them; they went back to God. "You ain't playing fair!"
He smirked, "Nigga, Isaiah 40:28. He rolled the dice along the table. "To better translate. I do what the fuck I want."
A four and a five. The dots rearranged, a two and a five.
"One." he beamed. Chauncey cleared his throat. The dice flipped two fives. They shuffled and another dice appeared, one dice with a dot.
Chauncey 2 God 2
"even?"
"What the fuck you expect? This isn't elementry." he gestured to the window. "Out there is the streets."
"But we in a building."
"So, what that mean?"
"You cheated."
"Not in my House. But because I am so generous with you mothafuckas, what was yo' peace with me?"
For a moment, he forgot. His chest burned. "Can I be a prophet. I wanna—I want what my daddy never gave me."
"The fuck..." he looked up and down at the chubby nonsense. "Boy you came here for child support?"
"I came to get what I never had. I hear all these stories and I got nothing."
"I let my own son be burned and bit, what the fuck make you think I'm looking for an heir?"
"I bet I can lie and gather enough for you to eat. Bet yo' son ain't did that..."
Who was this nigga? What nigga had the balls to cross through the door and offer him a buffet. "King Chere did everything for you. Let me take his place."
"If you looking for second chances for that nigga, shit on it." huffed the Lord. "No!" Chauncey dismissed the claim. "I put my daddy to sleep. I put him in a coffin. I shot him, I cut his legs off." he wheezed. "I buried that nigga. Psalm 18:30."
God rolled his eyes. "This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him." Chauncey grabbed his shoulder as the lord turned away. He gawked at the man. "I'll make another bet. Not only can feed you, lord. But I bet I can make a crown."
"You retarded ain't you?"
Chauncey reached into his back pocket He pulled out a silver chain attached to a medallion with two skulls mimicking the drama masks. The skull of Comedy and Tragedy.
"Hell's Gate."
"I don't want that nasty thing."
"But lord! I already have control, in your name, I ask you bless me. Guide me, tell me how to lie, tell me by your word, my lord. For these streets I walk on, know damage, and hurt. They ask for you."
"Aw bitch." God tittered, "You a funny mothafucka."
Chauncey smirked. "I bet I can take the whole world. Starting with America."
"Your father never gave me shit."
"I can do better." his eyes were wide with glee. "I'm not offering to suck ya dick or anything--"
"Thank fuck..."
"--But I could do... do much for you."
"Aw hell, I spoke too soon," God murmured. "What about more land for the ghytto?"
The Lord viewed him, "You a lying ass nigga."
"No cap." said Chauncey. "If I lose, I sell my soul. And it's black gold..."
