"Hey, why stop here?" Asked Dinda who was surprised.
Dinda did go home with Karina. They were both in the same car in Karina's car.
It was now half past ten in the evening. And at that hour in Indonesia, it is already quite late for women to go home.
But suddenly, Karina pulled up her car right in front of a night cafe that was open from nine o'clock until the early hours of the morning.
Of course Dinda was surprised. Why did Karina stop her car here? For whatever reason, Dinda wants to quickly return to her apartment.
"Take me a drink." Karina said firmly.
While Dinda snorted softly. "What do you mean? Karin, tomorrow is still Saturday and we are still working. Are you kidding me? You going to drink? Until what time? What if you get drunk? I can't drive, damn!!" Dinda said cursing. The woman was really annoyed with Karina's behavior tonight.
Since hearing the news about Ardian's reason for not being able to come to the cafe earlier, Karina became annoyed with herself.
And now Karina had even walked first to a cafe that night. And like it or not, Dinda also had to follow inside to accompany Karina.
The night cafe was not a discotheque. But the concept is a bit like a discotheque.
There was dj music from the middle of the cafe which was close to the bartender's table. But the cafe that night had the same theme as ordinary cafes in general. There are many sets of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the food and beverage menu.
However, there was one thing that was different in the cafe that night. The cafe that night served several types of alcoholic beverages such as red wine, vodka, and beer. There are also bottles of imported soju.
Karina and Dinda sat at table number 11. The table they occupied was located in a corner of the room where the lighting was slightly dim.
"Are you serious about ordering these two bottles of red wine?" Dinda asked Karina. Just as a waitress came with a wooden tray containing two glasses of burgundy and two bottles of red wine which had been opened at once.
Karina nodded her head as she thanked the waitress.
"Are you kidding me? What's the matter with you that you chose to get drunk tonight? For whatever reason if you're drunk, I'd better go home first and take a taxi!!" Dinda said again. The woman wanted to scold Karina at length.
Karina even chuckled softly hearing Dinda talk a lot. "Din, you won't be able to leave this drunken friend of yours alone. When it comes to going home, think about it later." Karina said very casually.
The woman began to pour red wine into the two glasses of burgundy. And Karina immediately drank one gulp when she had already poured the red wine into her own glass.
Dinda pursed her lips. She could only see Karina drinking alone up to three times.
In the next second, the waiter who had come again. This time he brought two kinds of snacks that were on a wooden tray.
The two snacks were french fries and crispy mushrooms. For Dinda, it is better to eat the snack until it runs out rather than having to drink the red wine.
Dinda's burgundy glass has not been touched since before. Even though now Karina has finished her first bottle of red wine. The woman didn't look bothered at all. Karina just laughed incoherently once in a while.
Dinda shook her head. "Then tell me. Why are you drink? Are you fine?"
"Hmm, me? I'm fine. I'm perfectly fine." Karina said in a voice that started to ramble.
"You lied. You said you were fine, but now you're getting drunk? Hm, are you crazy?"
And Karina just chuckled amused to hear her best friend complaining since earlier. Was Karina wrong when she wanted to get rid of her annoyance by drinking? For Karina, it was better to be drunk than to cry silently in the room.
"I'm just upset. Do you want to hear my story?" Karina asked Dinda.
"Of course. Have I always been silent all this time? In fact, I rarely talk to you. You are the one who always takes my time telling stories. And again, I have to hear you talk."
Karina chuckled again. "Okay, if I'm honest about this will you want to understand me?"
Dinda nodded. "Yes. Just tell me."
"Dinda, what if you suddenly feel a feeling of love that never grew before?"
"What do you mean?"
"For example, you used to be loved by a man. But you rejected that man rudely and you insisted that your relationship with him remain as ordinary friends. However, when you are in a relationship with someone else, you suddenly feel like you liked you before. What would you do now?"
Hearing all these words, Dinda was silent for a moment. The girl's face looked thoughtful.
For Dinda, she will still appreciate a man who dares to confess his love for her. Even though Dinda doesn't love him, Dinda will definitely say it nicely and politely.
But if Dinda is in the position that Karina imagines, Dinda doesn't know what to do.
"Karin, can you give me two choices?"
"Umm, fine. First, you will break up with your lover and approach the man who has confessed to you in the past. Second, you will settle down with your current lover and try to erase the sudden crush." Karina said with a smile. The woman was starting to feel drunk.
Dinda is stunned. Suddenly she could understand what Karina was talking about.
"I think I'll go for the second point." Dinda said.
Karina frowned. "Why?"
"Because you have rejected the man who once confessed your love to you. You rejected him harshly. And if now suddenly you feel a crush on him but you already have another lover, it is your fault. And you have to erase those feelings, Karin."
"Ouch!! Why did you say 'you'? Was that person me?"
Dinda laughed amused. "Hey, you're getting drunk? Tell me. Is that guy you're talking about Ardian? And now you have a crush on Ardian?"
