"Damn! your country is cold"
Sixteen hours of flying, even if they slept on the plane, it was still tiring. They wake up for a meal that Hasher's crew served them.
Even Hashim didn't have much appetite. Although he enjoyed watching animated shows on the mini screen in front of his seat, his enthusiasm lessened.
Only Hugh's enthusiasm didn't falter. He ran all around, asking Hasher a lot of questions regarding the plane's engine.
"Will you teach me how to make it move?"
"Okay, but make sure to be born in this world, okay?"
Hugh didn't know how to answer that question, so he went quiet for a while. Then he asked questions again, why humans couldn't fly or why animals can only talk to his mind.
No one dared to break the bond between Hasher and the toddler.
They talked and played some games together until the plane landed at one of Manhattan's largest airports.
Hashim's jaw shivered; he had never experienced such weather before.
