"Just because you were able to catch it, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt!" Richard said in his rough voice and punched Gabriel again, but he was able to dodge it with a simple sway to his side.

Richard's face was showing extreme irritation, which didn't seem to be good for them. If Richard was irritated by the events, then he must have had a hard time hitting Gabriel.
