Setting: Mumbai city, Lokhandwala, Star Tower Apartments
Day: Friday(6th January 2021)
Ranveer (Thinking): It has been 5 days since that fateful day. I still can't believe that I came face to face with real zombies. For a person who loves to read comic books and Japanese manga, this is like a dream come true. Wait this is not the time to think about that. The little food that I had is now all gone, I will have to go for a supply run today, but if I am not careful I will be food for hungry zombies. First I should scout the area but how? Hold on now I remember, Sameer had got a drone for his birthday. If I use that then I have a good shot at scouting the area out of my house. Before going on a supply run I should think back to how the zombies were when I first met them. They looked like any typical zombie from the movies but for some reason, a part of all of their bodies had lost pigmentation like an arm or leg. I don't know why that is but it was common in all four of them. Those zombies were moving slowly and they looked like they were rotting as well, I guess it would be safe to assume that they were undead. That would explain why they were so slow. If they were undead that does not mean the laws of nature don't apply to them. Those zombies must have been going through 'RIGOR MORTIS'. I had heard about this condition in a movie where a dead body starts to stiffen after 6 to 12 hours. That should explain why they were moving slowly but then that does not explain why the 4th zombie was faster than the other 3. Maybe that person was bitten recently that is why his body wasn't going through RIGOR MORTIS? No, not only was he much faster but he also was much stronger than the other three zombies but why is that? Could it be?? No that is not feasible...but it would explain the 4th zombie's strength and why they were able to break through my door lock. I guess I can conclude that all zombies go through the same process a corpse would. These zombies go through RIGOR MORTIS and have their mental limiters removed because their brain's frontal lobe being dead. The frontal lobe is responsible for humans higher level of executive function. If it is dead then it makes these creatures dumb and strong as nothing is limiting their strength but there is a downside to their strength...they can only use that incredible strength once as using it will crack their bones and render them useless. I mean they still need a skeletal structure to move. I thought there would be more zombies on this floor but those 4 zombies stumbled into the lift and reached my floor. That means there must be zombies in the block lobby. If I remember correctly those zombies were reacting to the sound. That means the zombies were attracted to sound. I can use this against them. Well, I have been swinging my bat for 5 days and practising to kill those zombies. At first, I wasn't able to swing the bat with only one hand but now I am pretty comfortable doing it but I can't always bash the heads of the zombies. The swings might be powerful but they are still slow. I need something to cut them but a knife would not do the trick...something like a dagger or a short sword would be perfect for those creatures. Wait if I remember correctly in my dad's cupboard there is a sheathed short sword that I could use.
(Ranveer gets up and walks towards his parent's room)
Ranveer: Well! Here we are.
Ranveer (Thinking): After I got my results my parents never let me enter their room. Even my brother did not let me sleep in my room. Ever since I have been sleeping in the drawing-room.
(Ranveer opens the door)
Ranveer: Dad's cupboard should be on the left side.
(Ranveer opens the cupboard)
Ranveer: If I am right then the sword should be at the very end behind the clothes.
Ranveer: Come on! Come on!
(Ranveer grabs the sword)
Ranveer: Got it!
(Ranveer pulls the sword out)
Ranveer: There we go.
Ranveer: Wow! I guess this sword is not as heavy as I thought.
Ranveer (Thinking): It is about the same weight as the season bat I have been swinging for the last five days.
(Ranveer swings the blade)
Ranveer: Hah! Hah!
Sound FX: Whoosh!! Whoosh!!!
Ranveer: Haah!!!
Sound FX: Whoosh!!!
(Cupboard's door gets cut)
Ranveer: What the hell!
Ranveer: Well I guess this blade will be able to cut through a zombie.
Ranveer: Now I need a bag to store all the food I am going to get.
Ranveer(Thinking): I should use duct tape to wrap the magazines around my wrist. I should cover my head too...I should wear my brother's bike helmet. To cover my legs shin guards would do the trick...and now full sleeves, track pants and sports shoes. Now for the finale the sword.
(Ranveer Uses The drone)
Ranveer: Let's see how many zombies I have inside the complex.
(The drone flies outside the window)
(Ranveer Looks at the remote screen)
Ranveer: Oh my God! The numbers are more than eighty maybe even a hundred. How the hell should I go through this?! Wait, of course!! They are attracted to sound. My mom had a JBL speaker If I remember correctly.
(Ranveer opens his mom's cupboard)
Ranveer: Found it!
(Ranveer takes the speaker out of the cupboard)
Ranveer: Now then I am ready for them.
(Ranveer walks down the stairs)
Ranveer (Thinking): I barricaded the lifts so I can't use them.

Ranveer (Thinking): I have finally reached the ground floor...now the real plan begins.
Zombies: AaaaaagsGggagrragckh!!!
(Ranveer sneakily runs towards the car parking)
Ranveer (Thinking): Thank God those zombies did not see me...now let's set the speaker on the car.
Ranveer: There we go...now connect the bluetooth.
Speaker: Bluetooth is connected.
(Zombies look towards the parking)
Zombies:Aaaaargckh!!
(Zombies look away)
Ranveer (Thinking): Holy crap!! I thought they were about to notice, I am damn lucky...now then time for some music.
(Ranveer plays the music)
Speaker: 🎶 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
(Zombies look towards the parking)
(Zombies run towards the parking)
Zombies: Aaaaaaaragckhhhhh!!!! Gaaararararrararagckh!!!!!!
Ranveer (Thinking): Now is the time to run!!
(Ranveer starts running)
Ranveer (Thinking): GOD HELP ME!! GOD HELP ME!! GOD HELP ME!!
(A zombie comes in front of Ranveer)
Ranveer (Thinking): What the hell! Where did this zombie come from? Wait it's not alone...
(4 more zombies come in front of Ranveer)
Ranveer: Of course the party in the complex hall, for f**k sake!!
(Ranveer unsheathes the sword)
Ranveer (Thinking): I can't avoid a fight now.
Ranveer: Come at me you F***ERSS!!!
(Ranveer swings the sword)
Ranveer: Hhaaaaah!!!
Zombies: Grrrrragrrraagckh!!!!!!!!!
Sound FX: Slice!!!
Ranveer (Thinking): Thank God I am able to cut through these creatures.
Ranveer: Hhhaaaaahh!!!
Sound FX: Slice!!
Zombies: Grragckhhh!!
(Blood spills)
Ranveer: Hhaaaaah!!!
Sound FX: Slice!!
Zombies: Grragckhh!!
(Blood spills)
Ranveer (Thinking): Wow I finished them faster than I thought I would.
(Zombie behind Ranveer)
Zombie: Aaaaraaarrrrgckh!!!!
Ranveer (Thinking): Oh shit!! Where the hell did it come from...oh no this one is using it's strength for the first time. It is too fast I can't dodge it. Damn it!!! Damn it!! I don't want to die...
Sound FX: Gunshot!!
(Blood splatters!!)
