Yes! Finally, my campus life began! I cannot wait for how it will be going. I just hope that I can start my first day today smoothly. I have to set my vision and I promise that I will finish my studies successfully and graduated. I have to make my dad proud of me!
She was standing alone in front of the campus gate. She was mumbling at herself while closing her eyes and lifting her face toward the sky.
Suddenly...!
When I was open my eyes, I saw someone walking past in front of me. I don't know why, but when he walkthrough, my heart suddenly beat faster. My eyes were fixed on him. His fragrance was so nice. It has a good scent. Unfortunately, I did not get to see what his face looked like.
Truly, I was falling in love with his scent!
I already arrived at the campus, but my friends still not have been there. I just walk around and wait for them to come. The environment at that time was so busy because all of us the new students were busy doing the registration.
After a few minutes, I heard someone screaming and calling my name from afar. I turned back and I saw Lexi and Andrew were running toward me. I was happy to see both of them. Finally, I'm not alone!
''Lexi...! Andrew...!'' I shout happily.
''Lilian!''
''Why are both of you late? I was waiting for you two here.'' I make a pout face.
''It was Lexi's fault! I already arrived at her house, but she still not has been prepared yet.'' Andrew said with an annoying face.
''No! I'm not.''
''Okay-okay. Just stop bickering. I'm tired of seeing you two fighting from high school until now. Can you two just make peace?''
''NO!'' They both answered simultaneously.
''Puff! Okay, I get it.''
After that, we just heard some live announcements asking all new students to gather in the hall. Right after that, we going headed toward the hall. We are so amazed by the huge hall that can fit many students in there.
There were a few seniors who were leading our way and helping us to get our seats. All of us were provided seats according to the course we took. Both I and Lexi take an accounting course and Andrew takes an artistic architectural design.
After all of the students take on their seats, our first event was begin shortly. The atmosphere at that time was too noisy with the sound of chatting, laughing, and playful between us.
At that time too, I keep looking around. My eyes were looking into someone. Someone that saw earlier. I tried to recall back what shirt was he wear before. I observe one by one people around there.
''Is he the new student too? Or senior? But, he looks like he is already familiar with this place when he walks before.'' I said in a low voice but Lexi still can hear it. She was in a puzzle.
''Lily? What are you talking about? Who did you want to find? Did you know someone here?''
''Err-uh...No! I just looking around...''
''Oh? Or did you target someone and want to be a campus couple?'' Lexi said and chuckled.
''Lexi!''
''Okay, I keep quiet.'' She smirked. Then, she gives a secret signal to Andrew that sitting opposite us. She really cannot be sitting quietly. Andrew just replied with a blurred face.
I just replied to Andrew with a sign saying that Lexi was crazy. I can see Andrew just laughing there. Lexi gives me a sharp glare. After a few minutes, we were startled by one voice that spoke in front.
Our heads immediately looked forward and listened to what the speaker said. We were silent at that moment and focus on the person in front. Then, she introduces to us the student council for our campus.
After that, the five students council took to the stage and introduced themselves. The moment they appear in front there, most of the girl students make a little screaming at them. The student council consists of one girl and four men. Most of them were in their senior year.
Lexi was also amazed by our student council looking. She is really into it. I just shook my head to see her reactions. I admit that most of them were good-looking but...I just can control myself.
I just remember a one man that I saw earlier. Suddenly, I was thinking about him. For a second, when I was in a focused look in front and when it was the turn of one of the guys to speak, my heart suddenly beat faster.
I touched my chest with my hand and I look in front. I look carefully at him and check out his body figure. I'm not sure if that guy was him but...my heart was pounding!
''Hi, guys, My name is Brent Dawson...I...!'' He can't finish his words and Lilian suddenly stands up.
She suddenly stood up and look directly at him. For a second, both of their eyes gazed at each other. All the students there looked at Lilian in astonishment. From afar, Andrew and Lexi look at each other with a puzzle.
Then, Lexi slowly pulls out Lilian's shirt from below and she whispers to call her out. ''Lil-li...Lilian...!''
''Lilian! What are you doing? All of them looking at you!''
I was startled and I look around. All of their eyes were staring at me. Especially, the girl student's eyes. It looks scary. I quickly thought for a while about how to cover up my embarrassment.
I suddenly clap my hand loudly and laughed! ''Wow, a great speech!'' I clap awkwardly.
''I'm not even started yet my speech,'' Brent said.
''Err-uh...''
He chuckles and continues his words. ''Okay, let us continue our next event. It's glad to meet all of you.'' He finished his words casually and before he gets down from there, he takes a glance at her. He smirked secretly.
I was surprised to see that. Did he just take a glance at me? Did he think that I'm crazy? Or did he think that I'm a weird girl? Argh! I murmured.
''Lily! What happened to you?? You make us embarrassed.'' Lexi whispering.
''I will tell to you later.''
''You better spill it all out!''
''Okay. Right now, just focus on the front there. We need to pretend casually!''
Lexi looked at me with a dissatisfied face. She feels suspicious of me all that time.

We take a break for an hour before continuing our orientation talk. As soon as we left the hall, Andrew instantly finds us and meet with both of us. Then, we together headed to the cafeteria.
We buy some food and find a place to eat. After a few minutes, we find an empty place and we take our seats. Right now, I can feel that both Lexi and Andrew were watching me curiously. I can feel that they need an explanation from me after what happened earlier.
''Mmm...this yoghurt is so delicious! You two want to taste it?'' I said while giving it to them. But, both of them just sat there and crossed their arms while gazing at me.
''Err-uh...what?''
''Lexi, we can start the interrogation,'' Andrew said seriously.
''Miss Lillian Casey...can you explain to us what happened just now? Is there anything that you hide from us?'' She said while gazing sharply into her eyes.
''Did I have to explain it? Right now?''
''Yes, right now!'' Andrew said and clapped his hand on the table.
''Okay-okay! I told you both. You two overreacted. It's nothing...I-I...just want to confirm something at that guy. Maybe I have mistaken him for the other person.''
''Who did you want to find??'' Lexi ask.
''Umm...I don't know. I don't know who was I want to find...''
''Ugh! You girl so complicated! I'm quit!'' Andrew said and eat his food.
''No! I want to know it. Who is that? Did you accidentally meet your Mr Right? At our campus here?'' Lexi was excited to know.
''I don't know...I didn't see his face. But, I know his fragrance when I close to him.''
''What?? Lili! You are so amazing! Don't worry, I will help you to find him, okay?''
Both I and Lexi happily chatted about him and Andrew just sitting there listening to our stories. He just ignores us and does his things beside us. He used to listen and carry out with our two.
I was glad to have a guy friend like Andrew because he always knows our girl things and he will not disrupt us when it comes to girl stories. He will barge in when we have a problem and he always is there when we need him.
After a few hours, our orientation talk has over. Starting tomorrow, we will begin our real orientation and it will take around two weeks. The orientation is a must-have in campus life before we start our studies.
We went back on our way after finishing the event that day. Coincidentally, it was raining that evening. I had to wait for the rain to stop because I need to walk to the bus station. It takes ten minutes to walk to the bus station there but I don't have an umbrella to cover up.
I just waiting for a while near our main gate campus. But, suddenly...I saw a group of my seniors from the student council have through that way with their car. I was nervous and I tried to hide.
But, it is too late! They have seen me standing near there. I smile at them awkwardly. I look into them inside the car, but it only has three of them. That one guy has not in there.
''Hey, clap girl!''
''Huh?''
''Yes, you...! You are the one who claps bravely earlier.'' They tease her.
''Oh...'' I smile awkwardly and I was too embarrassed to remember that. All of sudden, one voice appeared behind me. I smell the familiar scent again. I quickly turn back and I saw that guy was my senior! He is the same person I want to find out!
''Darren! Don't bully our new junior. You all just scared her.'' He said.
''Wow! It is very rare to see our President advise us. Okay, we go back first. See you tomorrow. Bye, clap girl!''
I just standing stiffly there. I don't know what to say and right now...my heart was pounding faster. He was next to me and standing closely with me.
''Are you going back home?''
I nod.
''How do you going back? Did someone pick you up?''
I nod. Then, I shook quickly. I just remember that today I going back using the public bus. ''No! I use public transport.'' I pointed at the bus station there.
''Oh, I'm too. We can go there together.''
''Err-uh...umm...its rain. I don't bring the umbrella.''
''Me too!''
''Huh?''
''Let's run together!'' He suddenly grabs my hands and we run together toward the bus station near there.
After a few minutes, we reached the bus station. The things are, we've been soaking wet. All our clothes were wet too. I was speechless when he takes me together with him. It happened in a flash.
''You don't like rain?'' He suddenly asks me.
''Um...no...''
''You have to like it. The weather when it rain is the best thing. Even though we were soaking wet...the feeling was very special. You can feel the water going into our body...the coldness...''
I was smiling when listening to him saying that. I was attracted by him...
''Um...take this.'' He gives his black sweater to me.
''It's okay. I'm fine.''
''Err...no. Just take it to cover yourself. Your white shirt is too thin...I'm worried...''
''What?!'' I quickly take his sweater and wear it.
''I'm sorry. Don't worry...I didn't see it. But-honestly...I saw it!'' He said with a low and unclear voice. I was speechless.
After that, the bus arrived. Both of us went onto the bus. We take a different seat. I take a seat in front and he takes his seat behind me. Just like that...we didn't say any words and only let our silence speak between us.
