"Get in" he said grumpily. Why couldn't he ever be nice. I rolled my eyes and got in.
He backed out of my drive way, driving the car to a place unknown to me. Why didnt i ask before getting in , i mentally face palmed my self.
We drove past a restaurant and in cue my stomach rumbled. He reversed the car and parked in the driveway of the restaurant.
"Go order what you want". He said passing me his credit card. Who can say no to free food. I walked into the restaurant and ordered for a medium sized Mac and cheese with a medium sized bottled of cola and paid for my order. I got into the car and returned his credit card. I began munching away on my food when he spoke up .
"Damnit, do you have to chew so loud" he said groaning.
"Not my fault you literally forced me into your car when i didnt have anything for breakfast" i said shrugging.
"Well how was i to know" he said in a high pitched tone.
"Well how was i to know" i said mimicking him.
"You are annoying" he groaned.
I ignored him and continued eating my food, then i remembered what i wanted to ask him earlier.
"Where are we going or rather where are you taking me to" i said.
He ignored me.
"Are you going to kill me?"
"Maybe ill just do that if you dont keep your mouth shut" he said focusing on the road.
I laid my head on the window and ate my Mac and cheese in silence.
When i was done the car made a screeching sound and came to a stop, which made me jolt forward. I turned to glare at him .
"Why did you do that, i could have died from the impact"
"I'm sure the world is asking why you aren't dead by now" he said walking out of the car.
"What a gentleman"i muttered with an eye roll .
I opened the door and got down, looking at my surrounding i realized i have no idea where i am.
"Where are we " i asked, he had his back turned to me but im pretty sure he is rolling his eyes.
"You would have known if you hadn't been eating so loud on your way here" he said with a grimace .
"I'll choose to ignore that part" i said walking past him.
I walked a bit further and came face to face with a huge building on it was written Vaughn's enterprise.
While i was phantoming over the huge building, he brushed passed me and walked into the building. Was i to follow him in or stay where I am.
"You coming in or not" he said answering my question .
I walked into the building, interior is more fascinating than the exterior. He walked up to the lady sitting at the front desk and exchanged a few words with her.
The lady walked up to me when he walked into the elevator.
"Good day , im Alexia and I've been instructed to show you around " she said with a genuine smile.
I returned the smile as she led the way, took me to various places. This place was pretty huge took a couple of hours to go round this place.
"And finally , Mr Vaughn's office" she said , the smile not wavering from her face.
She opened the door to the office, and i walked in.
The place was pretty spacy compared to other offices.
"Yes dad, i understand can i go now?" He said to a man, whom he calls dad but has no resemblance in any way.
"Sure you may go" his father said.
When he got up only then did he notice my presence.
"Lets go" he said practically dragging me out of the office.
"What was that about" i asked once the office door was closed.
"None of your business" he said rudely
I scoffed and walked ahead of him into the elevator. I waited for him to get in before pressing various buttons to lead us to the ground floor. When it opened up i didnt wait a second i walked out of the building into his car and waited for him. When he got in he spoke up
"With the way you were walking , people will think you are the one driving the car" he said with a hint a humour in his tone. Why does he have to be so Bi-polar . Just some seconds ago he was probably fuming, now he finds the situation amusing.
"Whatever, just get me out of here" i scoffed.
He started the car and drove off, we didnt make any stop till we reached my apartment.
When he stopped at my driveway , he turned to look at me.
"No thank you for the ride?" He said raising his brows.
"Thank you for the ride " i said sarcastically and slammed his car door shut. I heard him chuckle from the car. I walked into my apartment , the moment i stepped in i heard him drive out.
"Such a day" i said falling back on my sofa.
