Steve was stunned as he stared at Joan, "you still want to get a divorce?" He asked her in disbelief.
"Yes," Joan replied in a soft voice.
"But babe I just told you___"
"Ayo, she is pregnant for you. You need to be close to your child, I don't want to come in between you and your child," tears pooled in Joan's eyes as she spoke.
"No babe, you're not going to come in between anything, you are my wife, you come first," Steve said.
"I know what I'm talking about Ayo, please let's not make this any difficult, it would be better that we get a divorce," Joan said in a teary voice.
"So you are... you are just__" Steve's voice broke as he tried to control his emotions, he took a deep breath "so you are just going to throw away what we have, just like that?" Steve asked in disbelief.
"This should never have happened, we shouldn't have gotten married in the first place," Joan said.
