Joan's mother left the bedroom and she quickly went to call Steve's mother on the phone.
"Hello, Adeola have you heard what these children have been up to?" Joan's mother asked Steve's mom over the phone.
"What is the matter? What are you talking about?" Steve's mom asked her.
"Oh, so Ayo hasn't told you yet?" Joan's mother asked.
"Told him what? Adebisi you are beginning to scare me, what is the problem?" Steve's mother asked.
"Yinka just told me that she and Ayo are getting a divorce!" Joan's mother dropped the words like a bombshell.
"What?!" Steve's mother screamed from the other side of the phone. "What are you talking about? How do you mean they are getting a divorce? Why would they want to get a divorce?"
