When the movie premiere was over, Joan was standing outside talking to Victoria, while Steve and his friends were still inside discussing the movie.
"That was a great movie," Victoria said to Joan.
"Yeah, it was. I enjoyed every bit of it," Joan said.
"I didn't know Deji was this talented, the storyline was top-notch," Victoria gushed.
"He is both a talented writer and producer," Joan said. Joan could see the look of admiration on Victoria's face as she talked about Deji. Joan hoped the feeling that was growing between them, blossomed.
"Did you come with your car? We could drop you off if you didn't," Joan asked Victoria.
"No, Deji and I came together in his car, he will be dropping me off at my place."
"Hmm, okay."
When Steve came out, he and Joan said goodnight to their friends before they both left.
"I was thinking maybe we should go get something to eat before I take you back home. What do you think?" Steve asked Joan.
