"So this is the second time I am seeing that guy here; what is going on?" Joan asked Victoria in a teasing voice as she walked into Victoria's office.
"Oh Joan, please, I already told you that he is just one of my customers, that's all," Victoria said.
"Just a customer who keeps coming back for consultations, huh? Hmm," Joan said, rolling her eyes.
"Brian is coming back because his allergies just keep getting worse even with the medication I prescribed for him the last time," Victoria stood up from her chair and picked up her handbag; they were both going out for lunch.
"Brian, hmmm, so that is his name, huh?"
"Joan, please don't start; let's just go abeg."
"And don't you think he is only using that allergy as an excuse to come back and see you?"
Victoria thought about Joan said for a second, "no, I don't think so; he is coming back because his allergy reaction has been worse lately," Victoria replied.
