Now wait a moment-. Jason felt as though his brain got really cold then suddenly really hot, settling into a warm and comfortable making his mind foggy, the warm blankets wrapped around him and the darkness was making him a bit sleepy. Suddenly it was as if his cozy bed had transformed into a water slide, hurtling Jason towards a light that came ever closer until the light expanded, ITS COLD. Those were Jason's first thoughts as he entered the bright room. His first view was of the wooden rafters of a house but a thought came to mind. Jason couldn't move his body, and it was still warm... and there was screaming and that was the last thing Jason could remember as he woke up from passing out in horror of being momentarily only a head. That wasn't how he expected reincarnating to feel but he wasn't against how it felt, it was like being in the worlds comfiest slide. But- no the end never happened. He passed out and that's how it will be remembered.
Now that's not cool, Jason tried to call out but his mouth felt weird and a oaaaaga came from his lips instead. Oh no Jason thought as he struggled to raise his pudgy, tiny hand to his face. I'm alive... Might as well cry, I remember reading somewhere that babies cry to expand their lungs. Don't want to get Asthma because I was pissed at Me. Reacting to the cry as a call, a woman immediately picked up the infant swaying him in her arms to try and calm him down. Lady I need clothes not more movement he tried calling out again but was meet with more cries. He gave up on trying to communicate his throat felt way to foreign so he looked around the room instead, keeping up his cries. From what he could see it looked to be a cabin made up entirely of a beautiful looking mahogany type wood but it shone with a more amazing hue than the wood he had seen before.
But what really caught Jason's attention, and his breath for a second, were the heads of several monsters mounted above a giant fireplace that took up half of one of the cabins walls. Ranging from a head of a griffin to a giant bore head. It was like looking at a head compendium of all his favorite monsters in the games he played! The swaying was getting annoying since it was hard to get a good look at the beasts. Jason couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia as he remembered his mother vacuuming in front of him as he tried to play a game, having to look around her, before ultimately making him pause and wait in the status screen until she was done.
Suddenly before his very eyes a menu popped up just like that of those games he had just been thinking of the moment he thought status, showing him his stats to the left of a mini 3D model of himself, just like he was video game character. But Jason could care less about the mini baby him, he'd seen more than enough baby pictures to know they all look like potato's, none the same but undeniably similar.

Jason couldn't help but stare at his stats. He could understand why everything was at one since he was a newborn after all but he couldn't take his eyes off his class. He was a Summoner already? Isn't this cheating? I thought I had to speck into trees in games, did this mean he was living the op fantasy as an infant?! Jason had always played the summoner class in games, having a giant meat shield with elemental affinity's was op! He never understood the Necromancy class since it was super weak to Holy magic and lacked the Summoner versatility. Not to mention the moral grey-zone of such a thing. Not that forcing spirits to do my work is much better...
So many thoughts were running through Jason's head that he didn't even realize he was being carried over toward a table. Suddenly Jason felt air rush around him scaring him out of his thoughts thinking he had been dropped. But Jason had just been set down on the table, his gaze getting captured by the beautiful azure orb that was sitting in the middle of the table not even a few inches from where he was sitting.
Jason couldn't help but reach out to try and touch the orb forgetting that he was a baby, completely entranced by its beauty, he didn't even realize the hand guiding his. The moment his hands touched the orb, Jason felt a warm glow originating from his fingertips extending throughout his entire body. Suddenly the glow retracted back into the orb and instead of shining its old azure self it turned yellow and looked as though it captured the image of the milky way in the center of itself.
Suddenly Jason felt something soft wrap around him before he was lifted up once more. Finally clothes he thought, still looking at the orb the woman picked up with him as she started heading back where they came from earlier, toward the sound of a man and a woman whispering to each other. "Here he is Lady Twila." The woman carrying Jason said as she extended him toward what he could only hope were another set of hands Jason thought, as he could only see what was above him.
Jason felt another pair of hands beneath him before being guided into a pair of soft arms that felt as comfortable as any bed, immediately sending the sense of security he had in the slide. So this must be his mother. Twila, he thought as the face of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen appeared above him. She had bright blue eyes, her facial structure made him think of an Italian exchange student they had once when he was in high school, curtained by thick black hair. She was wearing the warmest smile as she gazed into Jason's eyes. "Hello my little Ryuhi." He couldn't help but stare back. Ryuhi's his name now huh? Jason thought, only snapping back to his senses when the woman who was carrying him before started to speak again.
"A-are you sure Lady Twila? Naming him in respect for your grandfather I mean?" The woman asked hesitantly as though talking about a touchy subject.
But Twila failed to notice as she couldn't help but beam at her son. "I just felt like it fit, he looks just like him." Twila said as she grabbed one of his little hands, waving it back and forth. "Don't you think so Ally?" Twila asked without even looking over.
Ally couldn't help but smile at the love she could see on the face of her best friend as she looked at her newborn. "Of course, he does have the same cantankerous eyes and everything!" Ally joked. Ryuhi shifted his eyes at her, slightly tilting his head in confusion, a shocked hiccup stopping her laughter was her response.
Jason had looked over when he heard Ally say cantankerous eyes, having heard that so many times in his old life he was just surprised it followed him here already. He had forgot that baby's normally don't know what's happening around them. But he shrugged it off thinking it was worth it since the look on her face was hilarious before it suddenly got serious. Jason couldn't help but sweat a little when she suddenly left his view and heard her talking to a man.
"Avon, sir, I have the results of your sons class identification test." At that Twila looked up toward the voices having heard them.
"Come on now Ally, you know just because you work for me that doesn't mean you have to be formal. We've known each other, what, five years now? And you've known my wife her whole life so that practically makes you part of the family. So please for the last time don't call me sir." A soft spoken male pleaded with the woman.
"Alright sir!" She replied rigidly before everyone started to laugh. Ryuhi could practically see the salute in her words. "Anyway as I was saying Avon, the results."
"Oh that's right, what did I bet on?" Avon asked guiltily.
"You bet on Swordsman honey." Twila said gently stopping her beaming to roll her eyes.
"Yeah I did go safe and bet on me didn't I?" Avon chuckled. "What was yours?" He asked having forgotten.
"I bet on moon shaman. Since you wanted to bet on yourself, so did I." Twila said as she shrugged. "Besides with this pale skin what else could he be? He's practically glowing" she cooed as she poked Ryuhi's cheeks.
"What is he?" Avon asked excited now that he felt the competition was a coin flip, a chance to best his wife for once.
"He's a summoner." She stated quietly.
The room fell quite as they all looked toward the child.
"There has to be a mistake! There's no way my son is a summoner." Avon started to panic. "I wanted him to at least be able to take care of himself."
Twila looked down at her little Ryuhi, and he looked back into her eyes swimming in agony. Her eyes suddenly steeled as she resolved herself and she looked up. "It doesn't matter if he's a summoner. Just because it's one of the weakest classes doesn't mean we should just give up on him!"
"But honey, this world is built on strength. I'm just scared of what he might have to go through in school with his power." Avon replied, sadness coloring his voice.
A small cough interrupted the scene. The two of them looked toward Ally whom had just coughed. "His manifest was the eye of stars." she said as though this changed everything.
Twila looked at her friend like she had just said something profoundly dumb. "Of course his manifest was the eye of stars! Of course his strength would grow with spirit, Summoners are a spirit based class and its rare for a class to get an off manifest. But peoples spirits take far too long to grow!" Her resolve slowly breaking as she confirmed what they were thinking from the beginning. Looking back down toward her son her eyes were defeated once again. "Even the strongest summoner can only summon up to 2 fire foxes even with 4 Spirit orbs he's gained through decades of meditation and reflection."
Ryuhi felt like his entire world had been crushed. But the summoner was the coolest Ryuhi thought, defeated. I thought that bastard face said I would have fun. But I guess it was fun for "Me" to get me tortured for being weak. Gah and the bastard still makes my head spin Ryuhi angrily thought. Another cough interrupted his thoughts and everyone once more looked toward Ally as though they were all thinking what now?
"He has ten orbs already." She stated with a triumphant grin happily knowing she was the only one in the room who hadn't doubted the young lord her performance a success. The room was silent once again. Ryuhi looked back up and saw Twila now positively beaming at him.
"Ten orbs as an infant?! Are you sure?! But the highest orb count in the kingdom is just 5 orbs above that, and he's one of the highest powers in the Elven Kingdom!" Avon exclaimed dumbfounded.
"Here's the test orb." Ally responded. Again Jason could only guess she had handed him the orb. Baby here, people, humph.
"She's right honey he already has the spirit of a grown man as a child. Can you imagine if he becomes the first S class summoner!" Avon started to get excited again, and Ryuhi could hear him begin to pace as he thought about his sons future but all Ryuhi was thinking was how close they were to the truth. "Yes, and I'll train him the nature sword style since his spirits already so high it'll do him good to focus on other attributes." He said basically to himself. "well I'll figure it out, somehow..." That doesn't instill confidence in you father!
Jason had no idea what any of this meant but if he wasn't completely doomed then maybe he had a chance after all. Besides, Jason glanced back toward his status screen, it doesn't seem like they know about you. The name now reading Ryuhi and an intelligence of 2.
