-Time that rots everything away-
Drip, drop.
Drip, drop…
Smoke and dust mixed in the air as it very gently and quietly passed through the depressing plains making it so one can't see much from a few feet from where they were stand. Death and gloom can be felt as bits of rays of the sun could passed through the thick grey clouds that filled the sky. A lone man was standing in the middle of nowhere with his head down, his good-looking eyes dazed and could almost be seen as devoid of life. He was filty all over, and his shoulder downcast, almost hunching, slowly losing grip on the hilt of the broken sword that were still dripping blood....
Drip, drop.
Drip, drop…
The sea of stars outside the cracked wide window miraculously, but coldly looked back at the single vessel that remained amidst the debris floating on the vacuum of space. Not paying attention to the warning like glare of lights and blaring sounds coming from the direction behind him, the man still stood despite the ugly and nightmarish wounds on his body, as if fascinated by the flickering jewelry on the night like surrounding, he continued looking forward but if anyone was there with him, they'd notice that the person wasn't really watching the stars. It instead looked like he have something really heavy on his mind. Not giving a care as the ship had started shaking violently as explosions could be heard…
Drip, drop.
Drip, drop…
Scratches, banging, growls and roars of deformed unworldly creatures on a door that was piled up with things to keep it close echoed on the quiet rooftop, but it was apparently ineffective as the metal door of the entrance began crumpling under the relentless attacks of the persistent monsters on the other side of the door. But the man standing on the edge was unflinching as he stared off at a distance, seemingly not noticing the swarming walking corpses along with mutated creatures with some animal features of large sizes filled the perimeter of the building. As well as the carnivorous plants shooting out of the ground and encircling the outside of the building with its long and seemingly endless vines, slowly reaching the top.
The man this time seems to be wondering of something but before he could find the answer the door was thrown open, the eager undead rushing to the only live food in the area…
Drip, drop.
Drip, drop…
Guns and explosives, chaos, death. Cold feeling and slowly losing something important but still determinedly trying to keep on grasping it…
Drip.
A youth still filled with good-looking immaturity kept on kneeling and repeated what he heard, feeling really conflicted that he couldn't wrap his thoughts on what the person in front of him said but still felt breathless an scold all over. "…Tragic fate?"
Drop.
A figure sitting in a clear white seat wrapped in dark clothes, with half of his upper face covered by the hood of the material opened his pale lips as the strange lines on the right side of his face glowed mysteriously. "…How about a bet?—…If you complete it–I'll grant what you desire."
Drip, drop…
Inside a spaceous room with walls coated in mild colored hue, in the middle of the sparse but classy furnitures and overwhelming sea of flowers, a lone bed with a sleeping person could be found. If the beeping device with wires connected to the young man and the other tubes on his body could be ignored, one would think he was only having a peaceful rest inside a low-key luxury hotel room but his pale and thin visage, slowly being aparent showed his sickly condition.
After a while, the door of the hospital room opened and a doctor and two nurses passed through the strict checking of the burly men outside the door in formal clothes.
The looked on the male nurses faces after closing the door were a little dark as they were getting tired of the treatment whenever they have to check on this room but can't utter a single complaint about the hassle as they were being paid really well and wouldn't like to lose this high-paying job like those before them. They started assisting the doctor on checking the condition of the patient when they noticed the doctor stopped moving suddenly.
"Is something wrong?" The nurse with darker skin asked and looked at the devices aside. There was nothing wrong on the patient's vital signs on the monitor and it was the same as before.
"No. I just… I think his eyelashes moved a bit."
The three stared at the exquisite pale face that was slowly waning due to the long sleep for a while but nothing happened. They then shrugged as they remember the condition of the teen and was about to continue their work when the calm machine on the side started acting different as the young man's fingers twitched.
They were startled but quickly and calmly did the procedures they've done for thousands of times, in both practice and real situations. As they confirmed the response of the patient, the room became chaotic as other people started swarming in nervously to make sure the young master of this room could wake up safely or it will be the end of not only them but the hospital.
"…Can you hear me?" The head of the hospital asked gently as the young man on the bed started opening his eyes under the bated breathes of the other people in the room.
Small, dark fan-like pair of long eyelashes fluttered as they slowly opened revealing two glassy grey orbs as the young man looked at the gentle aged grandpa in white robe beside his bed for a while before staring at the white ceiling, dazed and disoriented.
…
What was it again? That nagging feeling on the back of his mind. Screaming at his whole being to remember.
What had he forgotten?

Excited and adoring shouts and shrieks, flashes of cameras as the reporters holding them swarmed with the enthusiastic civilians holding banners and lights flocked the airport full trying to get closer to a tall man with extraordinary beauty that could attract anyone passing by, especially with his gentle temperament that couldn't be hindered by the simple grey pair of glasses and black mask he was wearing.
The whole place was in chaos and it couldn't be controlled by the bodyguards around the man with unordinary looks and bearing that the airport security have to get involved but it still took a while before the man could get away from the mob of fans and reporters.
Later that night, the same man in a simple sleepwear stood on a floor to ceiling window of the hotel he was in, behind him were a small hill of presents and letters from fans that his company had sent. Most of it were opened but this was only the small part of everything that was sent to him and stocked in a storage room. It will take a while for him to go through all of it.
He ignored the ringing of his phone on the side and slowly drank the liquor on the glass he was holding after swirling it gently. The scene would be enough to make millions of fans scream at the sexiness of the individual even though he wasn't really doing anything particular to be seductive, but just his small movements and fluttering of his long lashes casting a mysterious and somehow sexy shadow to his warm brown eyes makes him look bewitching at the moment, in addition to the effect of the slight twinkle of the bustling city that reached him.
Seemingly annoyed by the constant ringing of the phone and the person calling, the person didn't even glance at the screen before putting it in silent mode. After a subtle sigh that changed his whole aura and showed a weary look in his deceiving beauty as if he was so tired of everything, but in one blink, as if it didn't happen, his expression returned to being gentle and refined as he went back to sitting on the carpeted floor to continue going through the gifts and letter overcrowding the coffee table and a sofa.
Not planning to rest as he knew that he won't even manage to sleep, he passed the time unwrapping gifts and reading letters. It was getting bright outside when he was done, remembering his schedule that was filled to the brim, the man soon stood up to get ready when an unnoticed envelope fell.
Thinking that he might've missed that one as it got stuck in his clothes or something, he picked it up and flipped it to see the sender. He was stunned for a while on what he had read, then his eyes began to sting as his throat constricted a little painful with the skipping of his heartbeat, then the rushing of its beating as his chest felt stuffy with the resurfacing of the emotions he had kept in all of these years. Tears began to blur his sight as they fell one by one.
"Elder brother." He murmured with a broken voice full of longing and exhaustion…
