Memories could sometimes be fleeting and vague, fragile but long-lasting. It could make people happy and heart-warming, but could make them feel heartache as well. Memories could create a person, but it could somehow break them apart.
Moments of our lives, important or just passing minutes, turns to memories that fades with time. One could even remember it wrong, how important does memories even hold in one's life?
If you feel lost and empty that you could only hold onto that memories, exactly how far are you willing to go just so you won't forget?
If you've forgotten, are you willing to do anything so you can remember?
One have his memories but couldn't really do anything about it. Should he just stop here after so long or continue, because he had already been waiting even now?
The other had forgotten, not knowing where to start, or what he had lost. Should he stop caring and face everything? Was it really important or just a reason he used to escape his fear?
In a seemingly bleak reality, society with rules so suffocating for people who can't follow the normalised flow, two exceptional individuals willingly signed a deal with the devil to continue finding their most important treasure they've lost, leaving them with memories that they could only hold onto tightly so they could somehow console themselves to continue.
Would they be able to even grasp their desires? Or finally just accept that memories were all that they could ever have?—
System Helper 001: "F— you, narrator! The heck is a deal with the devil? I'm an honest good system, willing to help those who are lost and… not knowing where to go?" Paused, feeling that something was wrong with their argument.
Zeri: "Un, you're clearly just a GPS navigator. You're even faulty at times."
Brienne: "You're also a cheapskate. I think the devil is much more generous than your variety store."
SH 001: "What could I do? We're lacking in funds—eherm, just a start-up system. You'll have to make do as exceptional individuals."

"Please replace him for a very reliable one." One of the few times the two were on the same page.
Narrator: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "Meh."
