Without saying goodbye to the occupants of the house, David and Dion immediately left.
"Wait a minute," Dion stopped David's steps. "Where were you last night? You haven't explained it to me yet."
David pursed his lips inward for a moment. Then he sighed heavily. "I'll tell you on the way."
Dion agreed. Now the two of them got into the car and rushed to the shop.
"Now tell me, where were you last night? I mean, where did you sleep?"
David glanced at Dion briefly before turning his attention back to driving again. "Before I tell you, I ask you not to be surprised or shout. How?"
Dion spontaneously dropped his jaw, making his mouth fall open. His eyebrows pulled up. "What do you mean?"
"Yes, answer yes or no. I don't want you to misunderstand."
Pursing two lips in a straight line, Dion was silent for a moment. He seemed to be rocking and then a few seconds later nodded his head.
