On the next morning, Adam woke up early to finish the guide and explore the place after it. As he read the next half of the book , it came with what is mana and how to circulate it. Adam's eyes got lit as he read more. He wanted to try if he could flow the mana inside him.
When he was about to finish the book, the last page had a message.
To All The Young Mages Who Made It So Far:
It's time to prove your worth , the qualifications for giving the exam comes with a very basic step. Feel the mana inside you and try collecting it anywhere in your body. It's the first step to be a mage. I wish for your well being to become great.
Adam was really excited but was nervous too. He thought maybe he'll fail even without giving the exam. As Adam was being a worrywart , Arthur came in. He wasn't looking too good. Arthur was mostly energetic and playful but today he looked pale and tired.
Adam asked him if there was anything wrong but Arthur smiled and said he was just not feeling too good. At afternoon Adam went to the training hall to practice to sense mana. Before he could even start the system showed up.

Adam got a system message after a long time and was excited. He got one more reason to learn Mana sense but he had no idea what One With Nature meant.
When Adam reached the training ground he saw a large crowd there. There were many people, everyone looked of almost the same age. There were a large number of girls too. Well that was given as there was no discrimination he saw till now.
Everyone was trying their own way to sense mana. Some were Meditating with a weird face while others were holding on to their weapon and standing still with their eyes closed.
Adam thought about what approach he should use to sense mana. He thought for a long time(5 minutes) and then got an idea. He first tried to think about what mana actually is. The knowledge that the book had was that mana was the spiritual energy of everything in this world. Everything and everyone has mana inside them.
He thought deeper about what spiritual energy meant. And what does it means to have a spirit. Suddenly he felt a warm sensation at the middle of his body , it was a comfortable sensation, it felt like it could flow out of him, then it suddenly got warmer and was almost burning.
Adam tried his best not to lose his concentration. As he thought deeper he felt a the burning sensation calm down and suddenly felt like he was suffocating , it was like his heart got wrapped in something sinister. The pain suddenly went away and all he could feel was like the light of the sun was shining bright on him, he felt relieved and happy. Soon he felt like a spark from the centre of his body and came to his senses.
The boys and girls had surrounded him. They were starring at him like he was an artefact kept for display. Adam got self conscious as he ran directly to his room. When he reached his room , he closed the gate and took a deep breath.
The system showed up with the quest panel opened.
Quest 2:
Learn skill (Mana Sense) complete.
(One With Nature) pending.
It was only for a short time that the system showed up and then vanished. Adam was surprised as he had no idea how he learnt it.
He tried activating it but it didn't work. He was angry because now he learnt it but could not use it.
It took some time but Adam soon realised that the things he felt when he was thinking would be what made him learn it. He tried to feel that warmth again but this time he could feel it throughout his body.
It was like a golden thread having many branches inside his body. Adam was amazed and thought how beautiful it looked.
Soon Arthur came and banged to door like crazy. Adam's concentration hit a truck and he lost the sense. Surely someone's day was not going to end good today.
Adam was furious and opened the door. Before Arthur could speak, the first thing that came to him was a punch straight to his face. Inside Adam's head it went like, he'd punch Arthur and then leave with sense of satisfaction but in reality Arthur blocked his punch and told Adam that this could wait.
Arthur came in and was in a serious mood. He asked Adam if he felt anything wrong with the water that he drank today. Adam's face turned serious as he told Arthur about what he saw at night. Adam also told that he would have said it earlier but he was training to obtain Mana sense.
Arthur told Adam that he found poison in the water, he also told that it was probably intended to render most of the participants unable to learn Mana sense. It was a light poison that just sent a sense of dissatisfaction to the target's body. Of course no one can concentrate without a sound mind.
Arthur told Adam that they should report this to the instructor here. They immediately went to do so. On their way they were blocked by all the other students. The students were angry and threatened Arthur " So it was you ! A blood not too good to pass tried to make us useless, you'll pay for it ".
Arthur was surprised and so was Adam. Adam already knew the appearance of the person he saw last night. It was nowhere close to Arthur.
Suddenly a boy with black eyes came in front. He had the same appearance of the boy Adam saw last night. It was getting complicated.
