While Geo, Rose, and Caleb think about the best way to help Mars, Rose thinks of her father. Why not just ask him for help?
"I'll ask my dad to help us!" Rose blurted, but Geo quickly shook his head in denial. His eyes were even wider to see her.
"No, Rose! Do not tell your father that Mars is going to prison now. If Garcia interferes in, then he'll burn half of LA. He loves Mars very much. If he knows what happened to Mars, then he will slather me too!" Rose smiled faintly.
She was not proud of her father, but she was amazed at protecting the family. Back in the days, when he knew Mars was often beaten by his sister-in-law Alena Martinez, Dominique Garcia immediately flew to LA, intended to take Mars with him to Madrid. But Geovanni, who then obstructed him, was almost beaten because he did not look after his son. Shortly afterward, Alena died, and Dominique never intervened with the King anymore.
