Vanylla could not explain how she felt right now when she heard what Mars said about her as if it collapsed the whole world upon her head. The time brought her to three years ago when she first met Mars.
At that time, they were just two strangers arguing on the side of the road over a kitten that was nearly run over Mars' car. It was the same look Mars gave her back then when they barely knew each other at all. Vanylla kept staring at Mars with a blank mind and sorrowful expression.
"Mars, are you sure ..." Caleb stuttered and could not believe that Mars had forgotten about Vanylla. Everybody in that room was trying to gasp for air. It unexpectedly happened beyond their imagination when Mars had consciousness after a coma.
