ONE WEEK BEFORE
This weekend, Caleb walked into a hotel where Katy was staying while she was in Tampa. The hotel belonged to Jared Wright. There was also the place where the bidders' held meetings and gatherings. The tender process will last for the next two to three weeks. After that, the announcement will be made at the same hotel.
Caleb came out of the elevator and almost faced Jared, who was coming out of his room. Caleb quickly hid by pressing himself against the wall. He had no mood to see Jared and his jealousy about Rose later. Jared passed Caleb without recognizing him because he was busy texting on his phone while walking.
After Jared got into the elevator, Caleb's head popped out of his hiding. He peeked at Jared's whereabouts before confirming that Jared was no longer around. Caleb then walked to Katy's room after everything was clear. He stood at her door, rang the bell, and waited.
