Annie stood looking at Luke as he eats without inviting her, she blink couple of times before adjusting her glasses ,. without asking she took her cutlery and join him both eating in the same plate.
Luke who was too stunned to continue eating look at her as she eat oblivious to his surprise look but she finally look up and give him a cute smile, blinking before she continue eating . Luke. left the food for her but he couldn't remove his eyes from her. Unable to take it anymore he grab her by her hair dragging her forcefully until she winced in pain
"Did you think you can joke with me.
"Luke...."
"Don't call me by my name it sounds disgusting in that dirty mouth of yours"
Annie wince ,she had never heard those hurtful words before she looked at him teary-eyed
"sir you're... hurting me"
"You deserve it you and your wretched family for murdering my family. He said crying and. laughing at the same time, releasing his grip on her hair . Annie not minding her own pain look at the man in front of her who is in pain she tried to hold him but he push her which cause her to hit her head on the wall making her head bleed.
"stay away from me" he said as he turning away ignoring bleeding Annie and the ringing telephone.
Luke left he was very angry and he fear he will take his anger on her and maybe kill her.
He will have gladly do that except he promise to spare her. he drive recklessly to his penthouse but thank goodness he was able to get there safe.
Annie stagger to the bathroom feeling dizzy she manage to clean herself before passing out. only to wake up to see her grandparents in law standing with some familiar people he saw on her wedding day
"Oh .... sweetie you're awake"
she nod unable to see clearly because she wasn't wearing her glasses.
"oh your glasses" a tiny feminine voice answer after giving her glasses she saw several people mostly men but she couldn't find her husband

where is..... where is Luke l mean sir"
Sophie look at her husband who curse under his breath.
"Honey don't. worry he will come back"

"of course. you need to rest okay?
Annie nodded silently
"Charlie can you please pass me those flower?
"Yes grandpa" James hand the flower to her
"oh thanks sir these are nice" Annie said looking at the flower and caressing it petals
"you deserve them" Sophie said caressing her hair
"thank you ma" she said gleefully
"C'mon sister in law you deserve it"
"I do?
"of course you deserve it silly girl" Nathan , one of Luke cousin said.
"Am sorry ma for killing your family"
Her grandparents in law look at eachother surprised
"you didn't kill anyone dear who told you so. Luke?
"no no no Luke didn't, I thought everyone is angry with me" she said bitterly before giving them a sad look that cause James to groan in irritation.
"oh c'mon time to get some rest"James said soothing her hair, she nodded.
"ma can you tell my mama I love her and papa too .
"okay now rest"they said before leaving.
"son explain to me what you did to her" James said angrily hitting his fist on the table
"Grandpa what happen to her is not my business and it will never " Luke said as he turn to leave
"where the hell did you think you are going" James ask now out of control
"Am going to see my damn wife isn't it what you want grandpa"
James look at his grandson and shook his head
" It is not about what I want Luke. I am disappointed in you. very disappointed"
Luke slam the door hard as he rush downstairs ignoring his grandma and cousin who are trying to get his attention. He is angry with his family,they know what happen still they support that bitch and her family who took almost half of their family and. still they are so blinded with her fake Innocence. If he haven't know her he would have fallen for her innocence. He entered his car and zoom off. with high speed until he reach his destination. His mind still drifting to his grandparents angrily he slam his car door loudly before going into the house only to see Annie waiting for him . He coiled his hand into fist if only he could rip off her throat. He was still in his bloody thought until she called him
"I made you dinner " Annie said hoping and praying he accepts it though she knows he is upset about something.
"keep your dinner to your self"he said as he turns to the staircase but Annie block him he was furious that he wanted to hit her until he saw her finger is badly injured with dried blood on it
"please sir eat I know you are hungry and I made it delicious"
"what happen to your finger" he ask gently but it came out rudely scaring poor Annie, she look at her finger and try to hide it from him but he hold her wrist
"it nothing luk.... sir"
"it nothing? he ask look at her wounded finger before leaving to get the first aid. Annie bit her lips as she thought he had gone to bed but when she saw coming down with a first aid kit she smiled warmly at him which he ignore as he begin to dress her wound .
"how did this happen?
"I was slicing the carrot then suddenly l slice my finger"
Luke. sigh looking at her calm and innocent face which held pain she is trying to hide with her smile. when she turn to look at him he found out he had been staring
"You should be careful"
"Will you eat my food? Annie ask looking at him pleadingly that Luke wonder what so special about the food or is it poisoned? as 8f reading his mind she took a spoon of rice and put it in her mouth. But Luke keep staring Crossly at the food then previous anger came back but he was afraid to hurt her he don't why but he can't..... he don't want to at least not now so he quietly leave to his study, after spending hours working he entered his room to see Annie waiting for him obviously scare to be alone. she wore a baggy shirt with no short. she felt relieved as she saw him enter the room so she went to sleep in
