A week to Dylan's birthday, it was a weekend and Luna was expecting Bella. She made sure that the guestroom was well prepared and that her favorite dishes were made.
When she saw that the time was soon approaching, she went to the airport to pick her up. She didn't wait for so long when she saw her and she waved at her excitedly. It was then that she saw the other person. She didn't expect to see Ethan. Did he perhaps have some work here in Blue City? When they reached her, the two friends hugged each other so tightly. "How are you?" asked Luna as soon as they parted. She was glad to see that she had gained some weight compared to the last time she saw her in Wingston. "I'm good how are you? Ethan is also going to attend the party, hope it's no problem," said Bella. "Of course not. Let's go home," said Luna and they headed to the car but Ethan didn't come with them. "He's going to the hotel where we booked to stay," said Bella. "I organized a guestroom for you. You're not going to sleep home?"
"I know but Ethan can't sleep there, you know," she said sadly. "I understand but Graham wouldn't mind I promise." "I also thought the same but he insisted saying that it would be uncomfortable for him so I didn't want to force him into something he didn't like. But don't worry because I'm going with you, I'm sleeping with you today and I will only return to the hotel tomorrow evening," said Bella.
"Okay but why don't you sleep home? It's only a week," said Luna. "I know but I don't want to leave him all alone for so long. He will get bored. Let's go because I have so much to tell you," said Bella and Luna started the car.
On reaching, Dylan was excited to see Bella.
"He's so much grown up," she said as she carried him," He also became heavier."
Graham too was happy to see Bella because with her present, Luna would be occupied so that he could go work on her gift. In the evening therefore, the four had their dinner talking about a lot of random stuff. "It's been so long since I last came to Blue City. Probably four years ago, everything changed," said Bella as she continued eating her food.
Graham knew that with Bella here, he was to be ignored. He therefore took his son after dinner and left the women to chitchat.
The two went to the guestroom and continued their chatting. "How is everything? How is Graham treating you?" "Very well. I did tell you that he got back his memory didn't I ?" when Bella nodded, she continued," I tell you what? You remember Vikram, the guy who came with Graham the first time in the hospital?" "Of course that hunk," agreed Bella. "He married Ciara Roberts," said Luna and Bella as expected exclaimed," What!!? Wasn't she always after Graham? What happened then?" "That she got pregnant for him and her parents decided it. Vikram had always loved her, I heard.". After Luna telling Bella everything, it was Bella's turn to speak. She told her right from when she left Wingston, when Ethan moved in and when she visited his parents but excluding the pregnancy part.
"I'm so happy they liked you. You're so lucky because for me, Rebecca has never liked me till now," said Luna. "You shouldn't worry about that. Good thing the rest like you. Lastly, I have something to tell you," she said the last sentence with a wide grin on her face. "Anha, I'm listening." Taking a deep breath, she said," I'm expecting." "Expecting?" At first,Luna didn't get it but when her mind registered it, her eyes widened and she asked," You're pregnant?" When Bella nodded, Luna screamed so loud in excitement. Bella just looked at her and shook her head. This is so much what she expected from her. Just then, the door opened immediately and Graham peeked inside asking," You're okay? I heard you scream."
"Yes, I'm okay. I was just excited. Bella is pregnant," she told him.
"Oh? Congratulations to the both of you. I will let you continue with your things. Good night."
With that, he closed the door and left. When he was in Dylan's room telling him stories, he heard Luna's scream and he became worried. He had thought that the bad guys had entered the house.
Back inside, Luna forced herself to calm down and said," For how long?" "Seven weeks."
"Oh my, you didn't tell me? How did Ethan and his parents react?" "Ethan was so happy and his parents too." "I honestly can't believe it How are you feeling? How is the first trimester taking you?" "Surprisingly not bad. I have a very high appetite and I'm not picky on food." "You're very lucky. So, what's happening next?" asked Luna. "I don't really know. I want things to be good between the four of us Luna. If you would convince Graham to sit down and talk with Ethan then it will help a lot. He wants to apologise to him," said Bella.
