Freddie looked at him and gritted his teeth before saying," What did you do?" Graham shrugged his shoulders and said," You only told me to say my last prayers." He was enraged and pulled out a small dagger then charged towards him in an attempt to stab him. Graham was quick to dodge it and punched him hard in the face making his nose bleed. "You sure are something. I'm not letting you go alive this time," he sneered and came back. Freddie decided to buy time for his goons to come but unknown to him, they were already captured by Vikram. He came back again and inflicted a cut on his wrist. Not bad, he thought. "You're done?" Graham asked before charging towards him then punched him again and this time, he fell onto the ground. He straddled him and punched his face several times letting out all the anger that was built inside him. Freddie's face was nearly becoming disfigured and before Graham could go further, the door was banged open and in came Vikram with the police and Graham was forced to leave him. Seeing the commotion, Freddie attempted to run but he got caught effortlessly," Freddie Cruise, you're under arrest against charges of attempted murder. You have a right to stay silent because anything you say can and will be used against you in the courts of law." His hands were bound with handcuffs and taken by the police. For Graham, trapping someone like Freddie was so effortless. He could easily take the direction one wanted.
It was then that Freddie realized that he was tricked by Graham and he cursed. Reaching outside, reporters and different kinds of people swam around him. He was being asked all sorts of questions as many people were insulting and cursing him, calling him all sorts of disgusting names. All the conversation they had with Graham in the washroom was being heard and everyone was well aware that he was the one responsible for the attempt made on Graham two years ago and that he was planning on doing the same thing today. He was surely done for and was certain that he wasn't going to survive this. Swiftly, he was put into the police van and taken away.
By the time Graham was done with handling the police and handing in their evidence, it was nine in the evening. He was now nervous as hell knowing what was waiting for him home. Sitting in the car, he drove till home and packed outside, wondering how he was going to start explaining himself to Luna. He had lied to her, yet she made him swear. He wanted to go inside, yet he feared.
He spent one full hour outside until he decided to go inside and face the reality. Entering his Villa, his guards congratulated him since the news had spread. Taking a deep breath, he opened the door and his eyes started searching for her until he caught sight of her and his heart palpitated in his chest.
She was sitting at the couch and she seemed to be doing something on her phone. He made slow steps to where she was and when he reached her, he squatted down till he was at her level and looked at her. She raised her eyes from the phone and looked at him before asking," The business trip, was it also a lie?"
He was silent for a while and said," Y-yes but I didn't want- " She didn't let him complete what he was saying and slapped him. He had expected this and more. Pushing him away from her, she stood up to leave but he was quick on getting hold of her wrist. "Luna, please listen to me. I really had no option. I had to do it. I'm really sorry," he pleaded and she glared at him.
"You're a liar! You lied to me. You would have told me about it. Look at your hand!!!" she yelled at him, her eyes glistening with tears. His wrist was bandaged where he was cut. "This is nothing, Luna. Freddie is out of our lives now and that's what is most important now," he said. "The most important thing right now is that you lied to me Graham and as promised I'm not forgiving you," with that, she left towards their room and he settled down on the couch thinking hard. He decided to give her sometime. He will patch things up when they are in bed.
Away from that, Ethan and Bella were out for dinner when she brought up Freddie's conversation, " I'm so happy for Luna and Graham that finally justice has been served. I would never have thought that it was that bastard Freddie Cruise responsible for everything." Ethan stiffened when she brought up the conversation. Unaware, she continued," My Luna went through hell for two years all because of that man and he had the nerve to attempt killing Graham again!!! He deserves a very good sentence, right Ethan?"
