Nero's expression darkened when he felt Tan Lian's consciousness lock onto them.
"Damn it!" He couldn't help but curse. Amaya was likewise panic-stricken. A feeling of terror drilled into her bones when she sensed Tan Lian's consciousness sweep past her. She couldn't help but look at Nero who was currently agitated because of this.
Tan Lian's aura covered the State Master's city in an instant, alerting the guards. Though they were still surprised by the sudden happenings, they still sprung into action, searching for anything suspicious. Now, the guards had their eyes and ears open as they started searching the city like headless flies.
"Idiots! What are you looking for when they are over there?" Tan Lian's shout broke through the air. His consciousness that locked onto Nero started to form tiny motes of light numbering up to thousands and hundreds of thousands that were visible though it was night.
