Nero started to refine the energy in his body, circulating it throughout his body to also supplement other parts of his body. His plans to use the energy from the stones to cleanse his meridians of the dregs were still considered. It was already night and the rumbling continued for about an hour before it started to decline. Nero was still immersed in this state for another hour before his eyes flashed open with a brilliant green light that seemed to pierce through the darkness.

Nero probed himself after waking up. The light from his core was much brighter than it was at the beginning, and he could feel that his strength had increased. Sadly the increase was only by a small margin. In as much as this was the case, Nero wasn't sad at all. This had shown him that even though he sealed his powers causing his cultivation to regress, there was still hope for him. And the thing that bothered him the most seemed to not be a problem anymore.
