Almost instantly after Nero's words were over, the ground unexpectedly burst out like a geyser, spewing broken rocks and dust into the air. Fortunately, Amaya and Gyeong reacted promptly and followed Nero's example. But even at that, they were a tad slow. Gyeong struck his staff towards the ground and borrowed its momentum to leap upward, even as he was covered in golden brilliance. A series of palm strikes followed afterward, landing where the ground had burst open. Meanwhile, burning her energy to the limit, Amaya carelessly swung her sword, engulfing the area around her in flames.
She landed on the ground while sliding a few feet back before finally coming to a stop. And though she had managed to avert the crises, Amaya felt a sting on her left leg. She didn't need anyone to tell her that she was wounded, but it didn't matter to her as long as she could still move freely.
