At midnight, Mari stood high up on the roof of a certain building while overlooking the orphanage that they had been observing for the past few weeks. Since she was appointed as the shadow unit commander under Riel, she holds the highest authority in this operation.
"Commander Mari, our men are in position and ready to strike at your command." (shadow)
Said the shadow whom appeared behind her out from thin air. This shadow was one of the elite shadows that served Trysia and now, working close together with Mari and her siblings for tonight's operation. Though upon hearing the shadow's remarks, Mari's ears redden as she became flustered by the shadow's remarks.
"M-mentor…! P-please just addressed me like the usual… its weird that you suddenly speak formally towards me…" (Mari)
"How can I…? You are his lordship Riel's Shadow unit commander and the leader of tonight's raiding operation. Surely I must be formal to my lady Mari…" (Shadow)
