Alen chuckled. "That's not what I meant. Every day you have to go here and there to arrange lots of books on those shelves. It requires not only effort but also thoroughness and patience. If I were you, I would probably have stopped working on the first day."
"That's because you are an unemployed rich man. So, you don't have to think about money, even if you just sleep all day," Ren replied, then laughed.
Alen changed his position to sit. He brought his face closer to Ren's until she fell silent. He smiled faintly as Ren subconsciously held his breath. "After this, would you like to stop by Aves City for a bit? I'll buy you your favorite ice cream."
Ren sat up while pushing Alen's shoulder so that the man was away from him. "Really? Then, let's go now!" Ren said nervously, then walked to the exit.
