Syndra pov's on
I was in the kitchen with Riven, we're getting some things ready for Zed tonight. Riven
helped me a lot, in addition to keeping me company, got me a lot of laughs with the messes
she ended up doing accidentally.
We were just finishing table preparations when I felt strong vibrations coming from my
island's lawn. He recognized the aura of Zed and Yasuo. They were fighting.
Riven had gone quickly to the kitchen to get the last few details, when she came back
and put her things away, I looked at her and said.
-Riven, the boys are fighting outside. I spoke calmly to Riven as I looked toward the
door and leaned into a chair at the dining table.
-What do you mean Syn? What boys?-She looked at me with that silly face.
-Zed and his "friend". -I looked at her with a mocking face while making quotes with
my hands in the "friend" part.
-Go to shit, Syndra. They don't even know each other, why would they be fighting?
And after all, Zed has been here for how long? -Riven was surprised and nervous at the
same time, probably thought something bad would happen to Yasuo.
She left the leftover things on the table and then walked in front of me with long
strides, I could feel the worry coming from her. I had a slight smile on my face as I could see
she cared a lot for him, she just wasn't going to admit it anytime soon. And what she least
expected is that the two had been friends for a lot longer than she and I thought.
Riven hadn't expected me to answer any of his earlier questions, just made it as fast
as he could to the front door.
Upon reaching the grand entrance staircase, Riven stood on the steps; no reaction.
I stopped by her side and looked straight ahead with a smile on my face, the two
looked like two kids fighting.
-----Small flashback------
When I first saw Zed, I ended up touching his face by accident when I went to see if he
hadn't been hurt by the impact of my sphere. At that moment, I watched all his memories,
from the most beautiful to the saddest and most painful, I couldn't help but be moved by
those things, because Zed didn't deserve to go through all that.
And after experiencing their memories, I couldn't help but see a little of myself present
in those stories that were told to me through memories.
His memories were beautiful, his life had been amazing when he was little, and in
many of those memories I saw the great guardians of the Capital with him. Irelia, Kennen,
Akali, Shen, Yone, and of course Yasuo, they grew up together in a small neighborhood of
the great Capital.
I pretended not to know Yasuo when I first saw him, found it a surprise to see him with
my friend, and didn't imagine that the hot man in the cabin could be him.
-------- Flashback off---------
We stood looking at that scene, Riven seemed to have turned his concern into a
simple smile when he saw it.
Yasuo was lying on his stomach, Zed was on top of him holding his big ponytail while
laughing at his friend's situation. Yasuo looked somewhat irritated, and Zed was amused to
hear the other man's complaints and curses.
-Says you love daddy, or you won't be able to get out of here! -Zed gave a few laughs
when he said that, his laugh came out darker and huskier because of the mask.
-ZED! HOW OLD ARE YOU? GET OFF ME FUCKING! I WON'T SAY ANY SHOT!!!-
Yasuo yelled as he tried to turn around to choke Zed.
Zed pulled the man by the hair and looked at him and said.
-You didn't say you love daddy. -Zed made a face of disapproval and grabbed Yasuo's
head and pushed it hard against the grass.
-ZEDDD!-The man shouted, his voice muffled by the grass
-He and Yasuo are having fun! -Laugh Riven.
-Really. -I smiled as I crossed my arms and supported myself with my shoulders on
the big door.
The two still stayed with their jokes and cursing, until they actually started hitting each
other amidst the laughs, so I decided that the games would end for today.
-I think that's enough for today, Riven. -I spoke to her as I walked away from the door.
-Oh, Syn! Fair at the best part? - She had made a naughty face.
-I do not want to see both faces swollen at dinner time. - I looked more serious at her
and then smiled again.
-Ok boss, the house is yours! She held up her hands in surrender and then we
called for them.
They seemed so engrossed in their games that they barely noticed our presence
there.
-Are the girls having fun? -Riven frowned and asked them. I knew she really wanted
to laugh at that scene, but she adopted her serious demeanor and scolded them both.
-He started it! -Yasuo pointed to Zed and made a child's face.
-Want to catch more? -Zed showed him his fist.
-Get in then! -Yasuo already went after Zed again.
I rolled my eyes and created a sphere between them.
-The next one who gets cute will fly off the island, and I say it won't be a very pleasant
landing!-I raised my voice and used the typical Sovereign tone.
-A thousand pardons, Sovereign! Yasuo quickly knelt and bowed.
-I hope you forgive me my beloved and beautiful, Syndra! -Zed knelt down and did the
same as Yasuo.
-Oh, good, now we can finally have dinner! -I clapped some palms while giving some
happy hops.
-You can huh, Syn! Riven crossed his arms and winked at me.
I glanced quickly at Zed and he glared at me, making me blush violently.
Riven realized what had just happened and smirked at me and Zed, then she looked
straight ahead and said.
-Hey Zed! Riven yelled. - What package is that? Are the roses yours too?" Riven
gave that smirk as he chuckled.
"Mother's daughter" - I thought.
I looked straight ahead, the direction everyone was looking at and where Zed's things
were. I saw him gathering a medium white package together with a bunch of white roses
that had been tossed to the ground.
Zed had run to the objects when Riven screamed, he gathered up the package and
cleaned it up, straightened the roses and came running towards me.
Zed knelt on the stairs and held out the roses to me.
-The simplest roses to the most perfect rose! -Zed handed them to me and then said.
-I was missing you.
-I say the same. -I blushed even more violently with what had happened and just
hugged him. -Thanks for coming again.
-I couldn't stand to go too long without seeing my great friend. - He returned the
strong and affectionate hug.
We held each other for a while, until Riven let out a scream, which caused Zed and
me to break apart. . . . .
-YASUO! KISS ME! Riven yelled as she ran towards him.
She ran up to Yasuo and jumped into his lap, to help Yasuo bastard jump into her
frenzy. .
-COME MY LOVE! -He held her and twirled while talking nonsense.
-THE ROTTEN ROSE FROM MY GARDEN! -She screamed.
-CACTUS OF MY LIFE! -He answered.
They stopped spinning and gave each other a smacking peck that echoed across the
island if you doubt. He held her behind her back and left her half leaning back while making
little kissing noises.
-One more kiss my love! -Yasuo tried to say that without letting out a laugh, which didn't do
much good by the way.
-Oh my love, so I'm embarrassed! -She said as she put her hands on her face to
pretend she was embarrassed. Something not even pretending she had.
-They deserve each other a lot! -I said looking at Zed. -Let's go in... - I sighed. -
Before I commit a double murder.
-I would love to see the great Syndra in action! -Zed said in a sweet voice.
By the gods, that man messed with me too much.
We left the bad theater of the two and went to the kitchen for me to prepare dinner.
Zed leaned against a counter and asked me.
-Syndra, who is that woman? -Zed asked.
-An old and great friend so saying. -I smiled when I said that. -That's the great Riven
I always talk about.
-WOW! Is she the great Noxian commander you talk about so much?- Zed spoke
impressed.
-She in person! But please don't say anything to her... Not yet. I stopped what I was
doing and stared at him. - Promise me Zed.
-For you I do everything my dear, but tell me, why is that? -He asked with a curious
voice.
-It's not the time yet, she's not ready and I feel it. -I went back to straightening the rest
of the things.
"If you say so…" He shrugged.
-Help me take these things? - I asked.
-Of course! -He said with his sweet smile.
He picked up some plates of food and their spoons and placed them under the table.
Zed told me a lot of jokes and told me how his last days were, I told him about mine and we
chatted until I spoke.
-Zed, if you're still curious to know about Riven, talk to her in private. But wait a while
to do this. - I sighed. -Finally things are starting to look good for her, don't remind her of her
terrible past, please. Not in front of him.
-I won't do that, Syndra, don't worry. As much as I am curious to know about her, I still
have a lot of patience and will know how to wait.
-Thanks Zed! -Smiles, relieved.
-SYYYYYYNNDRAAAAAA! - Riven came shouting from the street.
-WHAT IS IT!-I yelled back.
-I'm hungry! -She gave that wide smile.
-You know where the kitchen is. -I said mockingly. -Lie, we're putting food on the
table. You arrived at the right time, now go get Yasuo.
-Thick! -She pouted and ran to get him
"I never expected to see you talking to someone like that, Syndra." Zed chuckled as
he said it. -You are always so calm, I did not imagine that I would have a friend so agitated,
and that this friend in particular would be like that.
-Yeah, right. -I blushed when I heard that, I was so agitated with Riven and Ahri, But
with Zed I was so calm and kind. Not that I didn't go with them, but with him it was all the
time.
-Who knew I would find an old friend and colleague here! - Yasuo said that he had
arrived suddenly along with Riven.
-Who would have thought. And even more on the mount of the Great Dark Sovereign!
-Zed said.
-Really unusual. -Yasuo replied.
I went into the kitchen and found the missing foods and side dishes and placed them
under the table.
-I know the conversation is good, my loves, but let's eat before it gets colder. We have
all night to talk and have fun. -I told them.
-Syn is right! And I'm really hungry too! -Riven said.
We sat at the table and talked, Yasuo and Zed told a little more about them and their
childhood, Riven and I listened carefully to have a good laugh. We talked, laughed and
drank until dawn had reached its peak and we decided to sleep. We said goodbye and went
to sleep, I was happy and excited those meetings would reveal many surprises and
emotions, my instincts said that.
Zed walked with me to one of the guest rooms, which happened to be across from mine, we
were face to face and Zed told me.
-Good night!
-Good night. -I replied, I spoke amid a slight yawn as I opened my door.
I went into my room and Zed took my hand and said.
-Wait! Syn...
I turned in surprise, with that sudden action and request. I looked over at Zed and he
was taking off his mask, showing off his beautiful face and beautiful red eyes. He was
smiling, and dear, how perfect that smile was. His face was lit by the moonlight, which
spilled over the large windows in the hallway.
I smiled when I saw his beautiful face, and he showed a silly and embarrassed way,
pulled me close to him and glued our lips. He had gently backed me to the wall and was
holding my waist tightly. I smiled during our kiss, and so did he. And even awkwardly or
practiced in these situations, I laced my hands behind his neck to further deepen our kiss.
We kissed calmly, after we finished the act, we pressed our foreheads against each other.
He chuckled and walked away slowly.
-Now you will have a good night! - He gave a dazzling smile and then went into his
room.
I stood there with a red face and my hands over my heart. I couldn't hide my
happiness when he did that sort of thing.
Well, I think it would take a while for me to fall asleep tonight.
