Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 - The man from the hut

Pov's Riven on

I woke up with a fucking headache, felt the horrible pain even worse in my body. I was still

kind of dizzy and felt my head pounding and my stomach rumbling, I was nauseous but I

was still hungry. I felt like I wasn't lying on the grass where I had passed out, I was on

something soft and comfortable, something I didn't expect to wake up to.

I made an enormous effort to get up and sit down, I saw that I was in a small single bed in a

very clean and tidy room, in the room there was only the bed and a simple wardrobe. My

stuff was by the bed and didn't look like it had been searched, my backpack and sword

were propped between the floor and the wall, and my cloak was hanging from some nail that was stuck in the worn wooden wall.

There were some cracks in the old wall so I could see where I was. I could see vegetation

and water, I think I was in that cabin I saw yesterday. From my vague recollections, I

remember hearing footsteps coming from here. Did the person who lives here help me?

I heard noises of pans and footsteps, so it seemed that it must be a woman who lived there,

I decided to get up and thank the person who had helped me, I put my legs out of bed and

put my feet on the floor, steadied my body and I lifted it, but as I got up I felt a weakness

and a horrible pain in my belly wound. I ended up sitting back on the bed and complaining

to myself.

-That can't be possible, Riven! Learn to stand up again! - I snorted when I finished

saying those words.

Then I heard a second voice coming from the other side of the wooden door that was

slightly ajar.

-I'm glad you woke up, but I advise you to lie down for now. You must still be dizzy

and a little weak. I'll just bring you something to eat, just wait a little longer! -Said the voice.

Oh my God! Was that a male voice? Did the gods send an angel to save me? I put

my hands together and nodded my thanks. But wait, if it was a man who took care of me

while I was out, how likely is it that he took advantage of the situation? I started checking

my body and sighed in relief to see that everything was fine.

I heard knocks on the door and voice came back to be calm and thoughtful as

before.

-I can enter? - That voice was soft and delicate, always very polite. It appeared to be

a new man who lived there.

-Of course! -I replied quickly because I was anxious to know whose wonderful voice I

was listening to. I was curious to know who was the good Samaritan who helped me.

The door opened and I was definitely grateful for having thrown me down the hill. I had

a magnificent, wonderful, splendid sight! I thought to myself "If this handsome man didn't

abuse me while I was out, it was a shame." I was lost in this kind of thinking indefinitely, if

by chance I was drooling it wouldn't be a surprise at all as I really was slack-jawed at the

vision I was having at that moment.

Two more dots for Ionia. Ionia 2 x Noxus 0

He was a tall, stocky man, with tanned skin and a ripped physique, but with several

marks and scars on his chest and arms, probably battle scars. He had black hair tied back

in a very high and armed ponytail, his eyes were a shade of blue, a beautiful almost black

blue. His robes were more than approved of by me, as he was practically half-naked, wore

blue pants and a matching scarf, and was barefoot. I've never wished so much to be able to

rip off certain clothes.

He brought me out of my daydreams by faking a cough, he was holding a bowl in one hand

and a bench in the other, he walked over and placed the bench beside me with the bowl,

looked at me and smiled, walked away and leaned against the wall next to the door

-Thank you sir! I looked at the man and bowed my head to thank him.

-Call me anything but sir. Please. He smiled broadly and looked at the ground. – My

name is Yasuo. And miss, what's her name? -He crossed his arms and asked my name.

- The lady's name is Riven. - I replied, I spoke with a smile equal to yours

-Pretty the name. -He said as he settled himself on the wall and supported his left feet

on it.

-I say the same. -I replied smiling. -I hope I haven't caused you any problems. -I said

a little embarrassed.

-No problem, it was a pleasure to help a helpless and injured maiden. -He gave a

mocking smile after saying that sentence. -I couldn't leave you lying in front of my house

and do nothing. -He laughed then.

-Look, my friend, hurt until you go, but helpless maiden? What is your problem? See

this muqui here? I lifted my arm and strained the muscle while I patted it with my other

hand. -This muqui here handles that beauty there! -I pointed to the sword. - And not any

grown man can use it! -I gave a wide smile and made a winning pose.

He gave a laugh that was very nice to hear. He held up his hands in surrender and

spoke.

-Whoever spoke is no longer here! I take back what I said about you! -He laughed

while he said that. -Now it makes sense the difficulty I had to bring her inside. She's really

heavy.

-I think it's very good, huh! - I laughed and then said.-She doesn't seem to be that

heavy, does she? But over time the body gets used to it.

He nodded and said.

-You're nice for a Noxiana! - He gave a sweet smile when he said that

Then I already thought "Holy shit". He must have seen the shoulder pad wrapped

around his clothes...

-You saw the armor, didn't you? – I said with a crooked smile

-Yes, it still had the symbol half faded on the jamb, so it wasn't hard to find out...- He

replied while pointing to the jamb that was leaning against the wall along with the sword. -

I'd like to ask you something if it won't bother you.

- Can ask. -I smiled at him even before he finished the sentence.

- What is a Noxiana doing here in the vicinity of Ionia? He raised an eyebrow when he

asked her question.

-Exile is the word that defines what I'm doing around here.- I spoke to while staring at

him. – Basically I abandoned my nation about two years ago, I saw that Noxus was not

what we thought, I witnessed what they did to the people and the reasons the army fought

for. They didn't care about their anyone but themselves. Strength above blood, always

saying that the end justifies the means. That's why I left my homeland and started traveling

around the world. Totally aimless and destiny. -Smile

- An exile then? What a pleasure to meet one more. -He said calmly, as if hearing my

half-lie had taken a weight off his shoulders.

-Yes, and I'm proud to have defected.

-What a coincidence. So we are two exiles! – He gave a beautiful singing smile.

I looked at that man in disbelief.

-Whoa. For this I did not expect. How did you achieve this feat? -I asked as I picked

up the bowl to drink your soup

- Another time I'll tell, but let's say I was accused of things I didn't do and the army

now wants my head. -He said with a smirk on his lips.

-How interesting. I think we'll get along really well. -I closed my eyes and stared at

him.

He laughed and shook his head

-Now, Madame Riven, I will go to lunch and I hope you do the same, I believe that the

preparation I made is to your liking, as I am very proud of my culinary skills. He chuckled at

me and walked out the small wooden door

-Sure, thanks for the food. -I smiled and thanked him.

On his way out he closed the door, leaving me with a little more privacy.

This man had something that caught my attention a lot, he was somehow as

mysterious as me, it bothered me. I believe I will stay longer than expected here.

------ Time Break------

It must have been a long time since he had gone to lunch, until then I heard his voice

again.

- Riven? Have you had lunch? -He asked from the kitchen.

-I'm done! I'll bring you the bowl! – I replied as I uncapped myself and got ready to get

out of bed.

-It is not necessary! I look for it myself! -He spoke back.

Said and done, a few seconds later he was already opening the door again, he went

to the bowl and got it and then I said.

Let me wash it. I would like to help with something. I don't just want to lie there doing

nothing. -I spoke while I moved in bed.

-It is not necessary. I like to do these things from home. Not to mention that you need

to rest a little longer. -He said in a calm tone of voice

-Well, if you need anything, just ask. - I said still a little upset for not being able to

help.

-I don't think it will be necessary, stay in bed until night, it will help you recover. There

are only a few scratches left that need to be treated. -He spoke and then put his hand on

my forehead. – And it looks like the fever has gone down too. Well, I'm going to wash the

dishes and then I'm going to practice a little, okay? The night when I get back I will clean up

the bigger wounds again and finally sew up your arm!

- Wow, I got a doctor in the middle of the woods. Wow! - I said smiling.

-I learned some tricks from a friend. I needed you to eat something and rest more,

there must still be some poison around your arm, so I'll clean up later. -He said as he

walked towards the door.

- Okay doctor, I'll do what I recommend. But which poison do you mean? I raised my

eyebrow to ask.

-You hurt yourself on the thorns of a plant that we use as medicine, it itself is

poisonous, and its effect takes a while to get out of the body, so there should still be some

around the wound. I'll clean it again to avoid future inflammation and I'll sew up the wound

soon." He smiled as he said it.

-I understand! Thank you for taking care of me. I will forever be in your debt for this

beautiful act. -Smile him sincerely.

-It was a pleasure. Just having someone keep me company is a reward. – He said

smiling.

-You can go train, I'll wait here anyway. -Laughs. - You don't look like someone who

trains very hard. – I said looking at him with a mocking face.

- Do you think I was born with this wonderful physique? I train a lot for this! – He

made a funny pose and tried to imitate my voice.

-You don't know how to imitate my voice! - I said with a laugh

- But I made you laugh at least! - He was excited to say that and it made me a little

blush.

-Well, I'll wash the dishes and be right back. -He said as he walked towards the other

room.

He walked out the door and I got that goofy, goofy grin plastered on my face. At times

I didn't feel so comfortable with people other than my friends. I think times away from

trouble made me more polite and soft.

After a few minutes Yasuo returned to the bedroom and headed towards the

wardrobe.

-Are you going to train now? – I asked

- Yes, I'll come back at night. -He said as he went through the wardrobe.

-All right! -I spoke while I stretched.

He opened the wardrobe and started going through it, I saw some clothes, towels and

two blankets, there were also parts of armor. Probably his battle armor, he went through

some things and pulled out a huge katana, it was fine and well detailed It had been made

by a very skilled blacksmith

-Your weapon is very big, it must be great in combat! -I said smiling.

- Of course it's a great weapon, it was made by the best blacksmith in Ionia! - He

spoke smug. - And here's another big thing, and it's not the sword! He looked at me with a

naughty smile and winked.

I grabbed the stool beside me and hurled it toward him, then yelled.

- I REMOVE WHAT I SAID ABOUT GETTING TOGETHER! YOUR PERVERT! - I

screamed in disbelief at that sentence. He'll see that.

He ducked behind the door and gave a good laugh and then responded to my

offenses.

- That's a Noxian! I will love to disturb you! - He laughed and pushed the door again.

Each time his voice got farther away and then he finally gave the last scream.

-BACK TO NIGHT DEAR!

-GO TO SHIT! -I answered.

And he came out laughing from the cabin.

Apparently he had loved to play that kind of game, maybe we would get along during

that time, if I didn't beat him up for such games.
