It was already nighttime when all the visitors left.
"Where are we, Rin? Are we going home now?" you asked as you looked up to meet his eyes.
"Don't you like it here?" he asked, confused.
"I do like it here, but this house does not belong to me," you explained to him.
You smiled as you think of how cute Rin being socially clueless is.
He took your hand and opened your palm. Then he retrieved from his pocket several keys dangling on a keychain.
"It's my gift to you," he said like he was just handing you some candies.
Your eyes widened in surprise and for a while you just stared at him in shock.
Will he forever surprise you like this?
You couldn't say anything until he reached out to kiss your cheeks, that's when you found your voice again.
"I can't accept something so extravagant, Rin. Please. This is too much," you said, trying to get him to take back the keys.
