Josh instantly unleashes various attacks, firing chemical gas straight towards Audrey. His other hand unleased what seems to be a magnetic strike. Audrey immediately tried to retaliate by activating her staff for a gas barrier, but her staff didn't function. She jumped away from the position as she used wind magic to blast all gas upwards. It was now a real declaration of a fight to the death. Since Draxus was at the highest point along with his fiancés Olivia and Abigail being the only ones present. He focused on protecting them first. "Masks!" Audrey took command of the fight, Gayle left her position to try and stall out Draxus immediately, preventing him from joining the fight at the very least. "Tch, so you will be my opponent huh?" Gayle was completely focused, it was a pure three versus one, as Draxus was with Olivia and Abigail. "Drax, I can't read her mind as long as her weapon is with her." "Got it, go help Audrey's side." Draxus gave orders to the two of them and went towards Audrey's group."
Draxus faced Gayle as he brought out two swords with one more hovering nearby. "Never thought you'd be the type that would fight me directly." Gayle didn't say a word, she understood that Draxus is a dangerous opponent to go against, so she needed to focus perfectly if she wanted to stop Draxus from doing anything. "Hmph... Nothing to say huh? I guess you need to really focus." Draxus then rushed forward, initiating an overwhelming rush against her. She was barely able to catch on Draxus' speed due to her mind reading ability from her scythe, but she was already forced on the defensive as Draxus relentlessly struck from difficult angles to block with her scythe. She tried using her weapon's ability to shake his soul for a moment, which forced Draxus to stop for a short moment. She tried to retaliate by slicing off his legs after wrapping it around behind him. Draxus jumped and stuck one of the swords down, preventing her from going through with her scythe. While doing so, he spun and tried to swing with his left arm towards her. She barely managed to block it by navigating her hilt around. Draxus then pulled out his sword on his right from the ground and prepared to strike her down from in between the sword that was blocked. He set it up that if Gayle were to read his mind, she would only be able to react whether Draxus slides his sword upwards or downwards. He made it impossible to predict where his weapon will go, so she was forced into a 50/50.
Gayle avoided the attack by lowering her own body, which was the only thing she could do in that situation. She tried to kick Draxus' back from below but she instead hit a barrier. Draxus then fully reset his position, as Gayle was summersaulting backwards with her weapon still. When she recovered, she was able to see Draxus only for a single moment before he disappeared. She instinctively blocked a sword, as Draxus was instantaneously moving while some boundaries are starting to become present.
"He stopped holding back... Not good..." Knowing that Draxus has an infinite arsenal of magic, she had to bring out her mysticism. She had duplicated herself using purple mist, allowing her to fight him with numbers. However, despite that, she was starting to be overwhelmed. The boundaries Draxus had planted were firing ice spikes which were accelerated greatly by bending space, the clones were able to barely react to the spikes, but there was also icy vines starting to latch onto the legs of herself and her clones. From time to time, Draxus would appear for one moment and unleash multiple attacks at once. He was purely making use of all his power. The Boundaries, Space, Time, Ice, Electricity, Instantaneous, Eternity, he was using every once of his power which made Gayle fear that she could never hold against him. However, there was one more magic that she felt that Draxus activated when he returned to his original position with his arm raised up. In that moment, she was able to see multiple timelines. She saw ten futures with either her life ending, blocking attacks, or getting knocked out. She was forced to see a premonition of the future before Draxus she was now gripped by ice vines tightly. Draxus had pulled away her weapon from her hands and pointed his palm towards her. She then finally accepted reality. "Ah... I'm dead here..." However, what instead happened was all of her magic and energy was sapped away, leaving just enough for her to support her own body.
Draxus then turned around to see the battle below him, realizing that most of the Sentinels had exhausted their power. The only one who was actively fighting still were Audrey and Josh, Olivia and Abigail, seemed to have distanced themselves from the fight to try to tend to the injured. Pauleen and Juniper did the same, but towards Josh's side instead.
"Masks!" Audrey took command of the fight as she noticed Gayle go straight towards Draxus. Jevil, Wesley, and Layla wore their masks, preventing the gas from going into their bodies. Josh was irritated by the ability to react and immediately unleashed a new attack. "Merge collapsing stars! [Burst of Gamma]!" Josh fired a laser towards them, Jevil and Wesley dodged while Audrey activated her barrier to see if it could fare. In the meantime, she was starting to activate the new magic that she had learned. "[Goddess of Arcana Magic]! [Form O]! [The Fool]!" Just as her barrier collapsed, the laser just simply passed through her without even splattering blood. Josh grinned at first but was immediately shocked by how Audrey was not falling. Now with Jevil and Wesley moving in closer to fight him directly, Tiffany and Aaliyah tried to stall them, but with the massive differences in training, they were swiftly dealt with and knocked away. "It didn't have to turn out like this..." Keith felt dreaded as to what had happened between all of them. Both sides of his friends ended up fighting, Draxus cannot intervene because Gayle was stopping him. He brought out his sickle and chain ball, using his finesse to try and dispel every magic that had been unleashed between the two sides. Juniper felt the same, wanting to try and stop the conflict between two friend groups, she unleashed her wings and tried to stop Jevil's advance with her rapier and dagger. However, the sheer power of Jevil's scythe was too immense for her. Pauleen came to support and both were knocked away. They didn't suffer as much as Tiffany and Aaliyah, as if Jevil was warning them to not intervene.
Josh brought out his claymore and started defending against Wesley. Wesley timed his attacks well and found that Josh's movements were slightly dull. However, considering the world-ending attacks Josh has in his arsenal, he wants to avoid a mistake against him. The magnetic magic prevented him from making use of his shadows as it was an artifact from his light armor. He timed his attacks along Audrey's bombardment, and when Jevil finally came into the mix, they were starting to overwhelm Josh. "Open the path towards the end and the new beginning! [Black Hole]!" A black hole was opened right in front of Josh, which Jevil and Wesley tried to distance themselves. "[Form I - Magician]!" The black hole was deconstructed, Audrey's attacks now allowed her full control of any magic casted around. She deconstructs the black hole so Wesley and Jevil could return their focus on attacking Josh. However, he realized that Audrey had changed her form and thus unleashed an attack towards her while swinging his claymore around. "[Burst of Gamma]!" Audrey tried to deconstruct the magic, but was too slow. She dodged to the side and had a small hole opened on her stomach. She unleashed magic attacks composed of multiple elements towards him. Josh created another black hole to absorb the attacks and dispelled it before Audrey could deconstruct. His swing was blocked by Wesley, but due to the force difference, he was knocked away and sent towards Audrey, hitting her as well. "[Form II - High Priestess]!" Her injuries were quickly healed the moment she switched forms. "Curse your body with the epidemic. [Black Death]!" Josh didn't waste time as he blocked Jevil's scythe and inflicted his body with and epidemic disease. In that moment, Jevil was instantly experiencing high fever and pains within his body, exhausting his body as Josh swung his claymore, gravely injuring Jevil with an open cut to his chest and kicked back towards Audrey's side. Keith, now seeing his best friends start to fall one by one faced Josh, planning to stop him by himself. Audrey used her [High Priestess] form to heal Jevil back to being perfectly fine. "Why would you do this Josh!?" But before he could receive an answer, he was raised the same way as the incident back then and was thrown back towards Pauleen and Juniper. Layla rushed towards him as he suffered a painful collision. "Layla! Don't do-" Audrey tried to warn her, but Josh had already moved towards Layla to strike her down.
But before he could reach her, he turned his attack from attacking her to swinging behind him, where Draxus attacks with extreme ferocity, as one sword was blocked while the other stabbed him in his left shoulder.
