Gwen looked around the shopping mall with a bit of excitement as she finally had a chance to check around more. "As expected, seeing a place more crowded than markets at home is truly a sight to behold." Draxus sighed a bit as the shopping mall was a bit crowded with the number of people in it. "At the very least it's still within reasonable range in terms of numbers. "Drax, let's go I want to buy things for everyone as well~!" Gwen was smiling as she pulled Draxus by the hand, to which he simply followed where Gwen wanted to go.
The two of them stood out greatly, as if they were a couple model that was portraying what seems to be a date. While it is in fact their date, there were no cameras rolling that tries to record them.
The two wandered throughout the mall, as Gwen was the one that wanted to explore it. They started at the first floor, which mostly had clothing shops. Gwen, seeing an opportunity for a dress-up, pulled Draxus to the clothing store.
"Drax, you been wearing similar stuff back in the castle right?" "Yeah, it's because I can easily cleanse myself using magic." Gwen nodded twice with her arms crossed. "Yes, but I think it's time you stop relying too much in magic for daily needs. You may consider it training, but you can get too complacent if you rely on it forever." Gwen then spoke her mind, wanting to at least fix Draxus's habits of being lazy. "You need to change your clothes often, and avoid using the same one for too long. Understand?" One of her hands was lifted up from crossing to raise her finger so she could raise a point. Draxus didn't argue back, as he knew it made sense as he was forcing himself to optimize every bit of time he gets. Thinking to slow down for times would help him be able to think about certain points or parts of his work. "Hmm, I'm not really good in choosing my own clothes though..." Draxus raised that concern of his regarding his fashion sense. Gwen smiled and held Draxus by the hand again to start pulling him. "I can help with that~!"
Draxus underwent through various clothing trips as Gwen constantly picked out various types of clothes for him. They went with light color schemes, to dark, and even aesthetics like semi-formal wear. In those times, Gwen didn't waste time either as she also picked out clothes that she wanted to try for herself. While Draxus was changing, she also went to change, the fashion clerk that Gwen had asked for help was both excited and somewhat feeling nervous as Gwen and Draxus are practically a couple that was standing out very well. Each time they tried out clothes the clerk would clap her hands in awe as both Draxus and Gwen look exquisitely perfect for each other. After going through various clothes, they finally decided to buy all clothes that they have tried on.
After some time exploring once again, they arrived to a different store this time, which had various kinds of music instruments. Considering how Gwen loves music and singing, she wanted to see the instruments of other worlds as well. Even if she had already seen some of the instruments in the castle, she has yet to see other instruments.
"Wait, this is the first time I see the guitars of this world. They look much more sophisticated here..." Gwen was immediately pulled by the allure of the guitar. Draxus could only make a wry smile as he's not particularly great in playing the guitar. Gwen started playing the guitar a bit, to test. The clerk was troubled as he didn't really want anyone to touch before they ask for information, but he seemingly let it slide as he could hear a gentle melody from the guitar. "Umm, sir?" The clerk went towards Draxus to ask about Gwen playing the guitar, but he simply gave him an okay sign and whispered: "Don't worry, I'll be buying that for her anyway." With the clerk understanding his intention, he smiled and offered Draxus to let them try out any instrument they'd like.
After a few minutes, Gwen continued to carry the guitar, Draxus on the other hand got his sights on an electronic organ. After the helpers had properly boxed up the guitar for purchase, Draxus started playing jazz music with only the piano, which was pretty chill and enjoyable for everyone that listened in. Gwen was smiling again, as watching Draxus play the piano was something she enjoyed watching back in Preeliance. Though it is specially that Draxus is performing something is always keeping her to enjoy watching things without getting too bored.
After playing the whole piece for a few minutes, Draxus stood up and asked the clerk to get the electronic organ prepared for purchase. Various clapping could be heard after Draxus's small performance using the electronic organ, Gwen was cheering happily at that. She came and hugged Draxus immediately, charmed from both the awe-inspiring and elegant nature of the performance. Draxus realized that they have stood out much more, and decided to wrap up their time in the music store for the time being, buying the guitar and the electronic organ.
They went back to wandering around again, but it was finally around lunchtime. So the two of them decided to head down towards the ground floor where many fast food restaurants are available.
The two ate at one famous restaurant worldwide. They had a light meal while talking about which places to go for next. "So up next would be the books right? Is there still no way to setup a computer there in the castle?" Gwen had already made use of a computer and console in Draxus's mansion in Earth. Back when he brought everyone for a vacation, she in particular was the one that had played the most, even playing more than Wendy who used to play the games on her phone often. "I've been thinking about it for a while, but Jacquinn is recently moving around with Serkyrio, after his awakening, he'll likely setup some computers or consoles for people to play. I'll particularly ask for his assistance for the [Hall of Sentinels] to have at least a few, and one for my private quarters and office." "I see, I look forward to downloading a few games in them." "Just tell me which games you'd like and I'll download them for you, I can't really risk you downloading something suspicious. You can get a case of identity theft if you're not careful." Draxus gave her a bit of a warning, just to simply ensure that she won't be placed in some random trouble due to negligence. "Okay~! Anyways Drax, ahhn~!" Gwen was starting to feed Draxus as she was starting to be full from the meal. She purposefully took a larger portion than usual for that ulterior motive. Draxus simply accepted as he had already finished his meal, even if the portion was much larger than what Gwen had.
After a while, they made their way into the books section. They started picking out some storybooks, manga, novels, and other things like history books, historical records, and the like. Gwen was particularly fond of romantic novels, as she picked out a lot of them. "Did you get everything you need?" "Yeah, still though, is it okay to pick out this much books at once?" "I have some contacts here, so anything we buy is pretty much brought to the delivery truck. And they kinda restock every day, so it doesn't matter as much." Draxus knew some things around businesses, and thus simply allowed Gwen to do whatever she pleases. After some more time, they finally left and arrived to the games section.
"Oh right, we may be unable to setup a computer, but we can buy other consoles here." "Oh true! Then can we please buy some?" Draxus smiled as Gwen started to plead for her to be spoiled. He brushed her head with his hand before folding without any resistance. "We can get you a personal laptop at the very least, one that can handle games very well." "Hehe~! I love you Drax~" Draxus blushed, and simply returned the sentiment by patting her head for now as they are in public.
They continued the shopping spree without caring about the total expenses.
