"Unknown has most of her attacks invisible, and intangible. Play on instinct! Uncertainty allows fiddling with fate! Try not to attack him as he will only redirect everything! And don't let Death touch you or your weapons! He can disable your body functions, mana, or even weapon effects!" "Tch! He immediately recovered, and even identified everything about us?!" "Do not worry, Death, we did get infinite chances to grow before we aimed for the final piece of the prime, even with information in his hands, he still won't be able to defeat us." "That I know, but I don't have to do it right now." Arlesk once again separated both of them by materializing a hardened wall between them, curving in towards the enemy. "Get this chance and run to the entrance!" The heroes were surprised, but Arlesk used his mana to quickly recover the injuries and energy of the three heroes and sent a command to escape. The three heroes then starting running through the entrance, he followed but blew up everything in the room first, caving in the end. This wasn't enough to stop them as Arlesk knew that Unknown will just push the rubble away and they would give chase. Thus Arlesk had to consume more mana to continue caving in the cave from behind them to buy even more time. Eventually, they returned to the third hall, which was creeping with spiders. Just in time, he would start hearing Unknown moving the rubble by force. "[Send instructions to all Guardians in Bovoyna, head to the coordinates and prepare a firing squad with the use of Plasma Rifles from all directions surrounding the target area]!" "Arlesk, why the hell are we running?!" "We can't fight them in closed areas, we're in a disadvantage, if we want to win, we need to lure them out." "Lure them out you say? I guess it does make sense since we can only damage them with extreme firepower, using that in a cave possesses large amounts of risk." "Glad you get it, let's push through these spiders first." As Arlesk and the three heroes make their push back to the surface with three harbingers chasing them.
Oswald was worried as all [Guardians] have started chattering and making preparations. He had just finished the job of finishing the changes in the country with the Young King of Bovoyna. "W-What is happening?" "The Archon has passed a message to all members of the order, to make preparations and head towards the Crystal Mine." "The Crystal Mine?! Did something happen perhaps?!" "It appears so, from Arlesk's tone, he seemed to be trying to escape, so he must've had an encounter that was at the level of beyond him. Thus we are instructed to help in the battle, from what I can see, he seems like he's looking for open space to fight the enemy." "For him to do such thing... I guess this is definitely serious then." "Oswald!" As Oswald, the Young King, and a Guardian chatted around, Jaquinn arrived. "Sir Jaquinn? You arrived just in time, can you get to where Arlesk is?" "I can but I shouldn't, his announcement has a plan hidden behind it, thus I should immediately get the other things cleared up here. Young King." "E-Eh? Yes?" "The Crystal Mine will be destroyed into a giant crater." "W-What are you saying...?" "The future states that Arlesk will be using a destructive ability, destroying almost everything in the mine. If the mine is destroyed, you know you would lose your main source of income. Join the [Tranquil Harmony] so we can help you avoid collapse." A bold statement by Jaquinn as he knew what will happen in the future. The Young King, pressured with the choice, made the decision. "I will, and I will accept the judgement of Preeliance." "Good. All Guardians! Prepare all your plasma rifles and set the functions into laser instead of rapidfire, we need something to stop the advance of the targets, allowing Arlesk to complete a full charge nuclear. Once he finishes charging up, switch to the magic reactor and activate [Contagion] we must contain the damage into just the Crystal Mine, if it goes a centimeter further we'll be paying a hella lot more. Understand?!" All the guardians who gathered in Bovoyna acknowledged Jaquinn's words and they quickly moved to the mine after calling Harold to warp them. The Young King, and Oswald joined them to witness what is about to happen.
Arlesk managed to arrive to the entrance of the dark paths of the underground mine and started to see the light in the sky. With the three heroes in front, he ordered them to quickly escape the mine and start charging up for a nuclear destruction. Behind them, Arlesk took notice of the three harbingers starting to close in on them. The four of them flew upwards, the three heroes quickly escaped the mine and started drinking antidotes while Arlesk continued flying upwards absorbing air, miasma, mana, and sunlight to charge up enough mana to generate radiation. "I've had enough! You think you could escape us from the depths of hell, this is nowhere near enough!" Uncertainty shouted in impatience as he made a signal. "Premonition!" Premonition suddenly materialized right beside Arlesk, prepared to strike him down and interrupt the charging process. The Guardians, despite seeing that their leader is in a position of danger, fired off the plasma lasers towards the three harbingers below. And just as Premonition was about to slice off Arlesk's arm that was powering up...
[In this battle, you harbingers were all [Fated], to die].
Serkyrio's voice resonated throughout the entire area from the sky, changing the timeline instantly as Premonition was suddenly moved back to the ground and was kicked by Jaquinn in the face. He was thrown in to the pit to which he was received by Uncertainty. "Y-You?!" Arlesk fired off the fully charged cannon as the defenses of Uncertainty couldn't force himself to push up due to the plasma lasers. But all those lasers ended as Arlesk fired his nuclear radiation since the Guardians had to use [Contagion] to contain everything of Arlesk's attack towards the mine. The reason why Arlesk didn't charge with divinity is so the damage can be contained in one place. He knew that it wasn't enough to kill them, but it was needed to weaken the Harbingers and disable the barrier Uncertainty had.
But it didn't go as planned.
[Such waste, shall be [Erased]].
In that one second, another being appeared just above the four harbingers, blocking Arlesk's nuclear warfare and erased it into nothingness.
With the appearance of darkness with black armor with purple lines and navy blue accents, Arlesk quickly identified the enemy. "Kenós?! You!" The being he identified as Kenós simply smiled and disappeared from the location along with the four harbingers.
With now no opponents around, and silence, Arlesk grit his teeth despite being a successful expedition. The reason for it is because of Kenós' actions in his memories.
