Upon his arrival on Kitsune Territory, Jevil immediately found himself surrounded by youkai. He had his weapon out during his flight and wanted to see how the kitsune would react if he appeared with a weapon. "Come out, you know what I'm here for." With a strong proclamation, he forced the youkai to reveal themselves as he didn't want to waste any time. "For the [Sentinel of Aggravation] himself to visit us... Is truly an interesting turn of events. Do not fret, we have already sent someone to inform our head." Jevil lowered his weapon, and inserted it into the storage. He knew that it wouldn't end well if he kept the weapon out and decided to keep it hidden for the time being. But even though he kept his main weapon, he had a handgun holstered in his waist in case somebody tries something funny.
Because of his power, he had to be escorted by multiple kitsune. He was completely uncomfortable due to the amount of other kitsune staring over at him while inside the territory. Despite that however, he continued to go over his own business. Before long, he finally managed to meet their leader.
The meeting was brief, short, but Jevil had to rush his way through the cunning talk that their leader had. As he left the place, he had traces of annoyance, but he stopped caring about the past and just decided to move towards the demon territory.
The same thing happened, but he forced their leader to understand through combat.
Since the leader of the demons seem to have a clue about the location of the shrine, Jevil had to make him fork it all over.
"So here I am planning to visit a bunch of satoris." "Dude you up for suicide or something?" Jevil was now talking to Draxus on the phone as he spoke his intentions. "Well, since your original mission is to visit the country and understand the culture of each country, did you succeed in that already?" "Yep, I even had the reports compiled with recordings for further verification." "Then let me get that for a second, prepare the physical copy as well." A rift opened beside Jevil as he started to take out the physical copies using a mobile printer that was used by the Sentinels. "Yo." "Here, please re-check if you can." Draxus began reading through the document about the cultural aspects of the country of Helvetum. "I see, I see... Divided by the four races... Even demons you say? The sound record files... Yeah, it's sent here..." Draxus continued reading as he seemed to be in a rush. "Rushing? Was I disturbing on a date?" "Nah, I'm also starting to get some interest towards youkai." "Hmm? You're out wife hunting?" "What the fuck."
Because Draxus gained interest, the two of them waited a bit on the border of the massive forest in the middle of the country. The two of them discussed about the properties of the border and the barrier being used in the forest that he heard from the leader of demons.
"So it wipes off the memories about this forest specifically? Are they that terrified of having their base raided up by hostile beings?" "Do you think we got a solution to this Drax?" "Yep." With Draxus not hesitating to answer positively, Jevil became slightly interested as to how Draxus would deal with it. "I've been experimenting with [Boundary Magic] lately, the amount of possibilities is just infinite, that our local magician Audrey isn't going to cut it. Wesley may have a chance considering how close he is on broadmindedness." "I see, then what's the plan?" "We mess with the boundary of their barrier. Though a much simpler way of just teleporting inside is also effective. The boundary is the first line of trees after all, it's spread out well in a circle." Draxus looked around and noticed that a large set of trees are forming some sort of fence for giants. He created another rift and entered into the forest without going in between the line of trees. "Now the hard-" Draxus immediately brought out two of his swords that make use of [Concept Magic] and [Destruction Magic]. "We got company." As Draxus immediately prepared himself, Jevil immediately stood behind Draxus to keep an eye on his back which is facing deeper into the forest with his scythe ready. "Oh? Is that sir Jevil that I see?" Jevil, upon hearing the familiar voice, immediately glanced over Draxus's shoulder. "Shuten Doji, were you brought here perhaps?" "I didn't think we'd meet again this fast. Jevil left his position to greet Shuten Doji with a handshake. Seeing that, Draxus lowered his guard for a bit. "So you must be the [Sentinel of Aggravation]." Draxus glanced over to the person that seemed to be escorted by the leader of Oni. "Ooh? So satori youkais look like what I had hoped for... Heh... I admit she looks really cute. Specially in the shrine maiden outfit." Before he could spout out anything rude, he turned around as he thought about the appearance while stroking his chin with his two fingers.
"And that person with you must be... Eh?!" The satori immediately blushed as she glanced towards Draxus, reading his mind completely. "Ah yeah, he is Draxus Heimdal Kingfisher, [Archon Kingfisher] of Preeliance. He came by while I was preparing a report so he can immediately relay the information. Though... He suddenly gained some personal interest... Jevil wore the glasses that Serkyrio lent to him to check something. Using it had some divinity leak out which caused Draxus to raise his guard instantly. But since he was wearing a new pair of headset on top of his usual attire, Jevil wouldn't notice that he's been noticed. What Jevil saw was a line between Draxus and the satori that he's introducing Draxus to. He immediately thought that his main mission from Serkyrio has been finished. "Mission? What kind of mission are you talking about sir Jevil Kane?" Jevil then realized the abilities of the satori could know what he's thinking about. With that, Draxus turned around completely with a serious expression. "From the Emperor of Preeliance? It seems pretty importa-..." Just before she could finish her sentence, she immediately blushed as she found out what the mission is about. "Eh? Ah! Well!" "Jevil, I'm slightly interested as to what the mission Serkyrio gave you. But I should be asking him right?" Jevil nodded as he started to introduce each member with each other.
"First of all, this person here is our leader, Draxus Heimdal Kingfisher." "It's late, but greetings, I am Draxus Heimdal Kingfisher. Archon of Preeliance, and leader of the [Crystallized Sentinels]" Draxus didn't show a curt greeting. He remained formal as he wanted to test whether the ones talking to him are arrogant or possible have a good behavior record. "Greetings to you as well, [Archon Kingfisher], I am Shuten Doji, the chief oni in the territory. Beside me are Ibaraki Douji, the second in command, and Lady Abigail, the youngest shrine maiden for this generation." Draxus immediately let go of his test as he deemed the group that Jevil talked to as responsible beings. "Testing us straight off the bat, maybe that is required for others that came from the otherworld?" Abigail, the satori youkai quickly tried to ask about the kind of behavior Draxus displayed despite earlier being honest. "If I remember correctly, satori youkai are capable of reading minds? Am I correct Miss Abigail?" "Miss... Yes, each one of us in the satori family are capable of reading people's minds." "Then..." [You should be able to know that I'm thinking how cute you are right?] Draxus showed a bit of a smug expression which caused Abigail to blush harder, immediately dropping her eagerness to try and make a comeback against Draxus's teasing and honesty. "W-Wha...?" "Anyways, we have much more important matters to deal with, since we're already inside the barrier, how about we talk more in the main compound. This concerns the entire continent after all. You may leave this to me Jevil, you may return to the castle." "Nah, I'll watch, I need to learn a bit more from you after all." "Heh, then contact Arlesk for the mission completion and Serkyrio for the personal matter, you can trace where I am right?" "Yep." Jevil brought out his phone and began contacting Arlesk.
