The effect of Serkyrio's [Meteorite] is still unknown to even archons. These abilities are something that he conceptualized himself without Draxus knowing or Remuel investigating what kind of ability it holds, this meant that Arlesk has to fight through the unknown.
Arlesk continued to attack with his opening flourish when suddenly each laser he fires made him feel completely hotter. "Heat control..." Arlesk quickly checked on what kind of effect [Meteorite] had, but he was still unsure as he tried to charge and absorb the heat using the absorption arm. It was then he realized his mistake.
"[Overheating equipment]?!" Serkyrio smiled lightly as he activated a heat charged shockwave after returning his three-sectioned staff to the [Interdimensional Storage]. "Not just that, but total heat control within the environment. Even your own body temperature." Serkyrio distanced himself to attack Arlesk from the distance instead of fighting him up close. Since he amplified the heat of each laser and star Arlesk shot off, he was in a position to endanger himself with his own [Meteorite] effect. However, with the magnitude of heat where Arlesk even trained himself for, he had no choice but to use his divinity to cool it all off.
However, before the two could continue their attacks, the atmosphere changed its temperature to drop. "Ho? So it's time Draxus changes the arena?" After noticing that the temperature had dropped down significantly, Arlesk was able to stabilize himself for the time being as he continued attacking Serkyrio from a distance with his lasers. "Then, how about this." Serkyrio noticed Arlesk's plan as his mind-reading gem was still active. Arlesk intended to remain distant as he changed his weapon after absorbing heat energy from the arena. Because of Serkyrio's [Meteorite] effect, he was able to capitalize on what could be done before he could unleash his next attack. But before Arlesk could finish charging up a powerful blast. "[Warning System Overheat]. Tch, this is tricky, but wing it." Arlesk fully charged the nuclear blast and blew up the entire area on the ground. It wasn't able to penetrate the barrier since it was Serkyrio's work of a divine tool to protect the audience from harm, but nonetheless, it still scared some of the people in the audience seat. However, Draxus who is controlling the arena felt somewhat disappointed. "Damn, my changes isn't gonna work that much here. But still, this is looking like a great battle." Draxus immediately used his ability once more to drop the temperature, since he can constantly keep one effect for one minute, Arlesk's advantage will slowly disappear in a moment.
Serkyrio moved around while the smoke was still clearing up, despite having the effect of [Jade] protecting him with multiple layers, he was still clearly injured as the attack was far too strong. He used another gem from the [Meteorite] set, he located Arlesk's position from within the smoke with perfect accuracy. Thus he immediately rushed while using another gem to eliminate his presence completely.
"And this is game..." Upon hearing those words, Arlesk looked around and had difficulty detecting Serkyrio's presence, but before he could react, a spear was stabbed right through his body and opened two holes. "Over. You did great Arlesk, but there are still some things you have to relearn as [God of Cyberspace]." Serkyio commended Arlesk for his great attempt in managing to corner Serkyrio despite having [Meteorite] up. He then struck Arlesk right in the chest with his fist and launched him to the wall, reaping his consciousness despite having cyber divinity acting.
The battle didn't last more than five minutes but, the audience were still satisfied with the display of power and difference in battle between Archons and the Emperor. "Arlesk used his divinity and still lost to him huh...? Hell, I don't think Serkyrio even used any divinity in his battle." Draxus let out his comments on the battle as the smoke finally cleared up. Serkyrio could be seen by the audience having major injuries that are slowly regenerating while Arlesk was unconscious while his armor is slowly disappearing. "And Serkyrio wins!" After the battle, massive cheers were brought out as it looked much more intense than last time.
Later on the day, Serkyrio visited Arlesk in the recovery room in the [Guardian Hall]. He asked for his fiancés and the princess of Luventrion if they're willing to listen to the conversation. All of them consented while Arlesk felt slightly complicated. "Arlesk, there's a lot you can do with your divinity. But to use every single thing in battle while overheated is a little bit difficult for you in your current state." Arlesk looked up to the ceiling and began thinking about what he could use. "Honestly, I could've extended [Cyber Space] to the arena, but it would make the audience be unable to see us. But you're right, I could absorb the heat in the atmosphere, but I can't deal with anything once my armor systems begin to overheat. Despite that, I can still resurrect people from the dead if they died freshly. And I'm pretty sure, I can also use the light differently in certain manners." Serkyrio smiled as Arlesk felt slightly regretful on losing a battle against Serkyrio. But since it was merely a test to his divine power, he felt slightly relieved when he heard that he's the first person to gravely injure his own leader in battle. "Let me guess, you feel great for being the first person to damage me to this degree. I kinda agree to that. It's only a matter of time when Draxus and Remuel will catch up though. But remember, our power serves a purpose in this battle, we can't allow our enemy to win in their game." Serkyrio left those words for Arlesk to ponder. He returned to his room to check in some details about the [God of Cyberspace] that he had recorded.
"Each one of us is growing in power slowly... And we can finally fight off against the apostles without issue, the only problem is that, we're still missing one more apostle and the [God of Dominion] himself hasn't appeared yet." Where could he be waiting? Was Serkyrio's thoughts before he took the chance to rest for a while.
