Serkyrio was accompanied by Remuel and Arlesk as they went around various shops buying things that gained their interest. They did this as it is a certain obligation for nobility to pass by the towns they go through and purchase various things. This is simply going to allow the economy to flow much fluidly. In their case, their interests different greatly. Remuel had caught eye of various magic books and tools that may be of great use for the [Dimensional Laboratory]. Arlesk was more caught on by souvenirs that he has to give to his fiancés. While Draxus isn't around, they already knew what he would be getting in this trip.
"Draxus is probably gonna find some magic engine in this country don't you think?" Arlesk made a quick comment as the three of them walked around the town. Many people had already recognized the appearance of Serkyrio, since he was well known as a perfect emperor that ruled over the country which has otherworldly items, and a powerful atmospheric magic source. Not many people were able to come close to them as he was together with two archons, making the trip highly significant. Shopkeepers were too nervous to talk most of the time, which made Arlesk take care of talking instead due to his charismatic nature. Needless to say, most merchants were surprised by their demeanor. It felt a bit more slack and calming, thus they were able to relax themselves.
"Well, it's Draxus after all, he may as well find some way to improve the magic vehicles we have so that we can travel much faster." Remuel's comment passed through Serkyrio's head which was in deep thought. He had realized that the country seemed peaceful and didn't have any wars or any strife. Noticing such issue, he spoke to a merchant and tried to collect some info regarding the country. Specifically the royalty and hero.
"Ya, one of this if you would." Serkyrio pointed towards an item that look very inconspicuous among the things that are on sale. "Hmm? Strange taste you have there sire, but here, twenty bronze coins." Serkyrio brought out a silver coin and calmly spoke. "Keep the change but, do you have any information for this country's hero?" The shopkeeper shook his head and began explaining what he knew. "Unfortunately, I only know the title, and I believe he's called the [Hero of Equity]." Upon hearing the title, Remuel's eyes quickly shot towards the shopkeeper instead of browsing the wares. As the [God of Equivalence], he looked completely interested on the abilities the hero have. However, since it was explained that the shopkeeper only knew the title, he has no reason to complain about it. He internally decided to talk to the hero in person later on instead. "Uhh, thanks for purchasing my wares...?" The shopkeeper knew the identity of the three, thus his tone of voice was somewhat awkward. The three planned to get to the capital before dark. Serkyrio waved lightly towards the shopkeeper while leaving a quick message. "Don't mention it, you gave me valuable info after all." They then left the stall to head towards Draxus.
After they rendezvous back on the carriage where Draxus was waiting, they went on through various towns and arrived to the capital of the country before dusk. Upon their arrival, they were immediately greeted by a couple of guards along with a person in a more sophisticated wear. They immediately judged that person to have at least some education level or at the level of common nobility.
"We welcome your arrival, otherworldly empire of Preeliance. I am here as a representative of the mercantile democratic. I am Commissioner Lux Azoth from the Ministry of Commissions." Draxus stopped the carriage to allow the commissioner to enter their carriage after he received permission from Serkyrio. Before allowing him in, he introduced himself and explained the circumstances. "I am Draxus Heimdal Kingfisher, archon of Preeliance. My Emperor is seated inside this carriage, do enter if you wish to speak to him." Seeing an archon doing driving service for the emperor, the commissioner casually hid a mocking smile from Draxus as he entered the carriage. Draxus easily noticed that kind of behavior and decided to let it slide for the time being. But since Draxus noticed it, the other archons, and the emperor could easily take notice of it.
"This is such a magnificent carriage, for it to operate automatically, and for great storage potential. How is it made usually?" Commissioner Lux looked around the carriage and examined the possible functions. His eyes was filled to the brim with excitement and anticipation on how to buy such piece of equipment. "It seems you are interested in an archon's hobby? Or is it because you can profit from it?" Serkyrio let out a comment to begin the conversation between them. Serkyrio already lost interest as the representative chosen only seemed to be thirsting for more money and profit. "Ah right, greetings Your Highness Serkyrio Kaiser, once again I am Lux Azoth, a commissioner from the ministry. I've come here to escort you to the central hub." Serkyrio offered Lux to sit down facing him. The two then lightly conversed about the carriage as Serkyrio asked for opinions from the commissioner. "Now, automatic carriages take a huge amount of skill to drive. So far, only I and archon Draxus, who is the creator of this vehicle can drive it easily." Serkyrio's eyes narrowed which meant for Lux that they had noticed his behavior. With beads of sweat slowly dripping down his cheek, he decided to shrug off the sharp glare and changed the subject.
"Is there anything you wish to know about this country?" Serkyrio closed his eyes to think of some way to gather information for now, and asked a few questions regarding the hero, and how the country functions. The two conversed normally until they had arrived to the central hub with a slow pace. Draxus had to slow down the vehicle to prevent any accidents. With that, they safely arrived to the central hub where the main government of Polytopia is centered on.
One person was waiting for them at the very entrance of the large building in front of them, he was wearing formal clothing similar to a normal salaryman starting out on his new job. With brown hair, and blue, piercing eyes, he looked much more than an average merchant.
"I have been awaiting for your arrival, Emperor Serkyrio Kaiser Preeliance, along with his archons. I am Claude Ying, pleased to meet the otherworldly leaders of Preeliance here." With a calm greeting, he bowed down with almost no change to his expression. Serkyrio, Remuel, Arlesk, and Draxus paused a bit as they checked the presence this person had. Serkyrio made a comment to return the greeting quickly. "Yeah, it's a pleasure meeting you too [Hero of Equity]." With Serkyrio realizing the true identity of the person in front of them, the [Sentinels] and [Guardians] looked completely surprised. While the Archons and the Scout team members were unfazed.
