With a small provocative taunt, Remuel instantly disappeared from his position, suddenly appearing behind Draxus. He didn't attack, but he was urging Draxus to begin getting serious. "If I were you, you should bring out the absolute potential at this point." When Draxus turned to look for Remuel, he found nobody in behind him. He felt the presence move around, and stop at his right side. "Because, if you stayed down, then you will not be able to progress." Draxus didn't need to turn, but he already knew what Remuel meant.
"I have to use it huh? Very well." Remuel moved back to his original position and distanced himself to allow Draxus to recover. "Here we go!" Draxus brought out the Moon card and activated it to its full extent. With the current state he's in, he doubts the fact that he'll be taken over again. But the need to use Zero's abilities will be essential to win against Remuel right now. "[Moonlit Memory]! [Wandering Abomination]!" Draxus stopped using the other swords and focused on the two that Zero normally uses. The sword that can control time, and the sword that can control dimension. Both of which are powerful artifacts that can make the user stand at the top of the world without effort. "That's more like it." Remuel smiled as he watched Draxus brave through the compensation of the Moonlit Memory.
In that instant, both disappeared from their positions, and instantly appeared right in the center. Remuel's scythe was blocked by the sword with the hourglass while the scythe was striking Remuel himself through a portal hole. "I thought the compensation was forcing you to feel the life of the soul?" The two exchanged more clashes which was then stopped by Draxus as he activated a time barrier. He then exit that barrier to distance himself. Combining the power of time and dimension, Draxus immediately entered a stance as he sheathed both swords. He prepared the [Dimension Cutter] which he named just now to use one of his sword skills. "[Kingfisher Bladework Fantasia] [Stellar], [Convex Star]!" Multiple slashes within the barrier Remuel was stuck in struck him down, revealing multiple cuts that were completely unavoidable. This dispelled the time barrier Remuel was trapped on, allowing him to move again. "Kuh, you really have some troublesome abilities..." Remuel sighed as he coughed out some blood due to the damage. "Of course it is, but that's not all." While standing up, Draxus had already prepared hundreds of ice spikes that are ready to fall upon Remuel's current position. Remuel smiled as he's finally brought into the thrill of the battle, he simply used the blood that were scattered to take over the ice spikes, and aimed them towards Draxus. "Tch." Draxus attacked with another Convex Star towards Remuel's position. Remuel dropped the ice spikes towards Draxus and dodged the attack.
"Hah!" Draxus dodged the attack that was reversed to him, he knew that Remuel was someone that's capable of easily turning the tide of any tactical move he makes. Thus, it would leave a bad taste if he ate a defeat due to Remuel's outsmarting. After dodging the ice spikes, Draxus repeatedly attacked with Convex Star to prevent Remuel from getting closer and force him to make large moves. Convex Star is one of the highly advanced sword skills Draxus made. He wasn't using any ability from Zero's arsenal since he was actually setting traps.
"Wha!?" Remuel ended up stepping on a dimensional black hole and forced him into the center of it. Draxus attacked with another Convex Star but it was all healed off. Thus, it was marked as the seventh use of Serkyrio's [Eternal Regeneration] as the sixth one was used right after Draxus activated Moonlit Memory. Slowly but surely, their time was slowly ticking down.
""I need to end this soon..."" Both of them having mutual thoughts, continued to clash for two more minutes, making the match seem like a long battle where only one can emerge victorious.
Near the end of the nine minute mark, Draxus and Remuel distanced themselves to receive the last [Eternal Regeneration]. Both of them were now in the territory where one can go down easily. It was also then Remuel finally used a good resort against Draxus. "[Deal with the Devil], [Plaguing Insanity]" More blood were expended out from Remuel's body, he was pale from losing blood but a dark aura appeared around Draxus. It was an ability that forces the target to lose control of himself. "Guah!!" A terrifying yell came out from Draxus as he tried to suppress himself. The agony he received from his insides were grievous. His thought process was forced to accelerate beyond comprehension. But a black hole opened from the [Dimension Cutter], sapping the aura just enough for Draxus to take control once more. He isn't able to remove everything, but since it was already getting resupplied, he now had to act before Remuel can easily force him unconscious. "[Kingfisher]... [Bladework]... [Fantasia]... [Finale]..." Remuel widened his eyes as he felt an extreme premonition when Draxus suddenly combined the two swords. An extreme hailstorm could be felt converging into Draxus which made Remuel force everything he had onto him. "[Beurteilung]!" And in that instant, everything in the arena was cut, even air, and the perception. It looked as if a mirror had shattered, but that was Draxus unleashing one of his most powerful sword skills at the end of [Kingfisher Bladework Fantasia]. The [Finale].
The arena had stopped in time, as some could see lines severing Remuel and Draxus, along with their weapons. They were all confused, some were inspired, while some were worried. In that few seconds of pause, movement could finally be seen from Draxus who started to sheath the combined swords of Zero. Just as he finished sheathing the sword, everything in the arena was corrected back. The only issue was, the circular flat area they were fighting on, were cut to various pieces, and Remuel was bleeding as he fell flat to the ground. "You... Got this one... Bud..." And thus, Remuel had been rendered unconscious.
"Draxus Heimdal Kingfisher, is the victor!" Arlesk's voice came out from the speakers as he announced the winner. Loud cheers resounded throughout the entire arena, causing a great commotion as they have witnessed a battle that could never be parred even between two heroes. They had never felt so tense watching a battle unfold, thus they were happy to watch something beautiful unfold. However, down at the arena, Draxus sat down on his knees before laying flat on the ground. "Damn... That was crazy..." He then felt a surge of energy and mana to allow him to move easily. "Haaah..." Arlesk then came up to the arena to ask Draxus some questions. "So, what's the score now?" Draxus calmly replied to him as there wasn't much to talk about. "Equal wins and losses."
Draxus stood up and looked at Arlesk. "I'm tired man, using all those abilities is making me feel like I'm in hell right now." Despite that, Draxus had a smile on his face.
The next day, Remuel woke up on his bed. His fiancés sat down on a table drinking tea together. "So you've come to?" The fiancés in front of him simply smiled as he scratched his head. "Well, ahaha..." He could only let out a dry laugh as they started to talk about the duel.
