The next day, Remuel returned to the castle of Luventrion along with Bethany to report what they had heard from Serkyrio and Draxus. They had to wait for a short while before they were given an audience, as the king was very busy as of the moment. Remuel and Bethany already knew that he was cleared off from the suspicion of approving human experimentation for artificial magic. But since the king wasn't able to audience with the archon immediately, something must've happened.
Remuel waited as he used [Amalgam of Secrets] to check on the current state of the castle. He didn't find anything suspicious except for the king who is currently intaking medicine in his quarters. This prompted Remuel to use his interdimensional storage to bring out [Remedy Deluxe]. "Seems like the king would need this huh?" His monologuing was noticed by Bethany as she asked about the potion in his hands. "What's that?" Remuel began to explain his findings as he used [Amalgam of Secrets].
"Basically, I have detected the king to be somewhat sick right now. So this potion will be very good for him. It's made by my friends at the [Preeliance Laboratory: Medicine and Magic Chemistry Branch]. This is basically an omnipotent medicine that can effectively heal any sickness and remove any toxins from the body. Basically, this can save a person from being poisoned even if it's from a curse." With Remuel's full explanation of the [Remedy Deluxe], Bethany's eyes widened as she was suddenly presented with a high class item that has value equal to a platinum coin. "I know that look you know?" Remuel smiled as he recognized the look on Bethany's face. "Of course we plan to circulate this on the market and make massive profit from it. However, we will have to give each country in the alliance a potion as a present." After a while of talking about the price of [Remedy Deluxe], the two was finally allowed to meet with the king.
"Yo!" Remuel casually entered the main hall and greeted the king in such a manner. There were nobles that were angered by his behavior towards the king, but Remuel didn't pay any mind to those inferior to him. "Ah Remuel, you have returned... Did something happen within the castle of Preeliance?" The king spoke in a coarse voice as if he had a dry throat, then coughing a few times as Remuel analyzed his current situation. "Yeah, I'll report after we deal with your sickness. It seems that you have been poisoned through a curse." Remuel narrowed his eyes sharply as he continued analyzing the king's state with [Amalgam of Secrets]. However, the nobles could no longer keep silent as Remuel kept controlling the conversation. "You runt! How dare you claim that the king is cursed!?", or "You dare speak to the king so casually!?" complaints could be heard from around them which he simply ignored. "Pretty sure you've heard of [Remedy Deluxe] right? We completed mass production recently, so we're making preparations to circulate this on the market. Now, go ahead and get yourself fixed with this before we talk." Remuel casually tossed the [Remedy Deluxe] sample to the king of Luventrion, as he had already heard the details from Serkyrio during the monthly meetings, he easily trusted Remuel and drank it in one go.
A long standing silence occurred as Remuel smiled, the nobles were directing sharp glares at him as they await for what happens to the king. But their suspicions towards him disappeared as the king spoke. "This, is pretty nice. I always thought that potions have a dull taste, not only that but, I feel a lot better now." More than half of the nobles widened their eyes and started to feel relieved since they could now trust Remuel after saving the king's life. Some of them however, went pale. "It's a [Magic Chemistry] trade secret." Remuel smiled smugly as he confidently spoke about the source of the potion. "Well, now that's out of the way..." Remuel's expression turned serious as he gestured Bethany to start explaining. "I was listening to the conversations between Archon Draxus, Archon Remuel, and Emperor Serkyrio, and Archon Draxus had a report from his [Crystallized Sentinels Order] regarding human experimentations occurring within this country." The king placed his hand on his forehead as if enduring a massive headache. "I figured, I got a report from my spies about that as well. We will issue them an arrest warrant as soon as possible." Remuel shook his head slowly as if telling the king that it's not needed. "May I ask if I take action against this underground facility itself Your Majesty? Because there are members from [People of Earth] cooperating with them. Subduing them is now impossible even if you have a Hero in your country. So leave this entire fiasco to me." The king widened his eyes before closing them to ponder about what will happen. "I understand, but I wish that you can refrain from killing them, they need to be punished for what they've done." Remuel nodded but he added something else. "The [People of Earth] however, will be killed on the spot. There's no way I'll allow them to get imprisoned before punishment, only to escape and look for another opportunity." The king nodded in Remuel's proposition. The meeting was shortly adjourned as the nobles started to return to their work.
"[Amalgam of Secrets]! [Trace the location, and connections of human experimentation]!" Multiple red lines, along with a single white line started to trace the following targets. As both red lines and the white line were moving towards a single direction. "Your Majesty of Luventrion, those nobles are connected with the human experimentation. But I'll have them caught in the act for proper evidence." Remuel pointed to the nobles that was leaving in a group to quickly report to their underground facility.
Later on the day, right after lunch, Remuel gave Bethany a high-grade necklace that he bought and enchanted by himself. "This should ensure your protection while I'm out. But are you sure you'll be fine here? Should I bring you to the castle of Preeliance first?" Remuel constantly asked Bethany whether she is fine with staying alone for a while. She grinned lightly while the king along with a few guards were wide-eyed in shock at Remuel's behavior. "So you tend to be like this when you're going off huh?" Remuel averted his gaze quickly while trying to make excuses. "Well, the castle of Preeliance is definitely protected, but people managed to easily slip in poison to even the king's cup. Ah right, [Remedy Deluxe] potions." Remuel brought out three [Remedy Deluxe] and even [Phoenix Tears] which can only be made by him currently to fully ensure her survival. This display of being doting and protective was a secret that the king and the royal guards decided to take to their graves.
After Remuel left, Bethany talked about her moving towards the Preeliance castle once everything has been finished in Luventrion. The king easily gave his permission without thinking about any profit whatsoever. Since her transfer to Preeliance through Remuel's engagement, creating a solid connection to him is already something that could give the country more benefits. "Quite shrewd of myself, but it's more fun this way." The king thought to himself as he smiled.
Remuel shortly arrived to a noble's mansion which he traced. He quickly knew that the location of the underground facility is under this large mansion in the capital. Thinking that it was so easy, Remuel actually snuck inside on daytime to add a little more difficulty by itself. But regardless of difficulty, he managed to arrive down at the entrance of the underground facility and knocked the guards out.
"Now, Draxus left me with a nice gift in case I need to go enter somewhere forcefully, so I'm really grateful to him with this." Remuel placed the satchel on the door before arming it.
"Let the fun begin."
