"So you're saying that, each floor requires a Rubik's cube solution, and it grows from the basic [3x3x3] to [4x4x4] and so on?" Harold examined the cube on his hands given to him by Remuel and looked around on what he had to do to solve it. "Yeah, it was pretty much beyond me the moment I saw it was a [4x4x4] cube. I would've done something if it was [3x3x3] but not in this case." Remuel sighed as he sipped on the tea which was served to him. Bethany was seen sitting next to him as she watched Harold analyze the cube. Remuel turned his gaze towards her and started explaining while picking on the education level of her colleagues. "Those two scholars with you, who couldn't solve a [3x3x3] one, will be shocked that there's a higher level than that." Bethany's gaze connected with Remuel and questioned him in response. "Well, even you are relying on another person right now you know?" Remuel grit his teeth to the sudden curveball comeback made by Bethany and looked away. Harold heard her statement and burst out laughing from it. "Ahahaha! That's a nice sight, we don't get to see Remuel getting demolished with words these days, but you may have to stop there. It's true that Remuel may not have that much capacity when it comes to puzzle trinkets, that's because his expertise lies on creation of important objects. He had created a bunch of potions that highly improved the quality of life of most citizens. Even potions that could be used in war such as; Liquid Mana Deluxe, Oversight Perception Deluxe, and many more potions. Whilst I have world information and puzzle knowledge. Aside from that, we also work on things such as dimensional portals which we completed one." Bethany widened her eyes upon hearing "Dimensional". She then spoke while staggering a little. "I-Isn't that supposed to be... C-Classified information?" Harold shook his head, laughing lightly. "Not exactly, it's pretty much public info of us having a dimensional gate. And Draxus using dimension magic is pretty much spread out due to what had happened in Santuria." Upon the mention of another archon's name, Bethany turned her gaze towards Remuel in curiosity. "I know what you're thinking." Remuel immediately cut her off from asking and quickly explained. "Draxus is a bit special when it comes to his abilities. He's the source of all concepts and theories, thus making him powerful enough as an archon. He's able to use any kind of ability to some extent, until he uses the cards. Those cards will be the ones to break through his limits. However, there is one card that will permanently unlock a memory." Remuel glanced at Harold in hopes for him to take over the explanation. He grinned in response as he helped Remuel. "Those memories he had gathered, were from various kinds of worlds. All of which are from the most powerful existences in there. In one such world, he now holds the ability to use dimensions and time to an extent while not using the specific card." Remuel sipped on his tea while checking on Harold's progress with the cube. He thought about interrupting Harold but decided not to as he stopped when the cube was about to be solved. "Each card will force a compensation towards Draxus, so the card taking over him is a possibility. However, he's currently sealed right?" Remuel nodded to Harold's question as Bethany continued listening. "For now, we won't be seeing Draxus at full power. He'll probably unlock it from time to time, and eventually break it when it's needed. He has a record of losing control and going dormant in that stasis chamber after all." Harold pointed his finger towards one of the stasis chambers that used to hold Draxus in dormancy state. "What other abilities does he have?" Bethany, with sparkling eyes suddenly became more curious as to what limits Draxus could have, but the two quickly stopped her with serious but slacking expressions. "And that, is classified information." With a smile, Harold shot her expectations down, causing her to sulk a little. "But, Remuel is also an archon, who also doesn't have such limit in his capabilities. He can pretty much tell you anything about his power." With light returning to her eyes, Bethany switched her target of curiosity to Remuel. The archon simply sighed it out and decided to give up from the expectant gaze of Bethany. "I won't tell you everything..." He teased her lightly before giving her a ray of hope while looking away. "Yet..."
Harold completed the cube after a short chit-chat in between the three of them. Upon solving it, the cube started glowing brightly which could potentially explode if not handled well. "Oh boy, seems like a troublesome cube huh?" Bethany was slightly panicked while both Harold and Remuel were completely calm. Harold then quickly sealed the cube temporarily so that it won't explode due to the lack of area to transfer. He faced Remuel and grinned with a tease. "We can always make Remuel the storage of mana, but he'll snap in hysteria." Bethany, unable to comprehend how Remuel would snap, turned her focus towards him. But Remuel ignored her gaze and decided to look away while denying it. "Don't lump me with Draxus." The two then quickly left after Remuel asked Noelle to clean up the table. Harold opened a portal for them back to the Luvention castle. Bethany entered the portal first while Harold stopped Remuel for a bit. "Seems like you got another girl eh? How do you wanna explain it to Victorina?" Remuel twitched in reaction while quickly covering it up. "Ah! Speaking of Victorina, do tell her that I'm doing just fine! She's probably wanna check up on me after detecting my presence here, but seeing as she wasn't around, she was probably busy." Remuel then quickly entered the portal back to Luventrion in a rush.
Harold closed the portal to Luventrion as he recalled all sorts of information in his mind. "Let's see, Bethany Alviss huh?" Harold started to ponder about how Remuel is going to behave in a different castle. "Will Archon Remuel finally go down the harem route? He carried her while flying after all." Harold moved his gaze towards the active dimensional gate and stared at it. "Home huh...? Guess he doesn't wanna go back there..." Harold knew that Remuel was somebody born from a wealthy family, his experiences, and the kind of lives they've lived up until now. "Crazy stuff, just like mine." Harold simply smiled as he continued working in the dimensional laboratory.
Remuel had lunch back at the castle of Luventrion, with the thought of trying more cuisine of different countries. Bethany was seated next to him while he's near the king himself. The king was able to introduce Remuel to his children but he didn't show that much interest as they were too young. However, for the sake of etiquette, he decided to at the very least act properly. After lunch, he proclaimed that he may needed some rest up until the seal of the keystone is nearing the breaking point. He explained that the seal will prevent the keystone from being used so he will have to wait for it to slowly decay before making it usable again. But that was simply an excuse to be lazy just for a little bit.
However, as he slept in the accommodated guest room for him. He began to enter a state of complete unconsciousness. He then awakens in an infinite plains.
